Easy to verify.
Simply send him a note or card. "Do not forward" "address correction requested".
Or a Priority Mail envelope, with email verification. You get notified IF the address is changed, and WHERE it was delivered. Simply put a Get Well Card and a $10 bill in it. :)

I just realized something. It's strange that not only Tony, but also his wife has gone into hiding. If Tony is in an alcohol treatment center and isn't appearing in public, that would make sense. But what does it mean that even she isn't showing up? Or are the two of them attending meetings using aliases behind a black screen on Zoom? If that's the case, they wouldn't be able to follow the Bible's principle to "incite love and fine works in one another," would they?
