The tax bill amount indicates that someone is getting homestead exemption. To get that, the residence has to be the primary residence of the person listed on the tax bill.
Where is Tony?

Also he has a Brand New Honda Accord in his driveway as well. SO I am guessing he got a nice little chunk of change when he left. Maybe he is leasing it, im not sure - but he seems to be moving on pretty well

Homestead is legit. Every state probably has a version. On death the deed goes back to "mom".
As for cars; take a normal 2006 cadillac in for trade on a honda and they will give you $500 to keep it.

Where do you see anything about homestead exemption on there? There is nothing on that posted bill earlier about homestead exemption.
The online receipt also does not indicate any kind of exemption. The property tax appears to be non-exempt.

All former GB members who left/resigned/removed have lived quiet lives in their later lives as normal JW's, except for Franz.
In fact, even Raymond Franz decided to write a book after he was disfellowshipped. He mentions in his book that he was happily serving in the local congregation after he resigned from the GB, till the hunting began:
For a number of months we enjoyed a pleasant relationship with the members of the East Gadsden Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, sharing in their meetings and in the “field activity.” A few months after my arrival the local body of elders wrote to Brooklyn recommending my appointment as an elder in the congregation.
So unless any action is taken on him, there is nothing that anyone will hear, apart from sightings here and there in a KH or in a convention.

Tony may not even be there.
With all the money Watchtower has hidden away everywhere, there's a good chance he's not even in North Carolina - they just have his name on a residence so people think he's there, and Salena showing up caused others to think he was there.

Why did you bring that up anyway? When you said: "The residence has to be the primary residence of the person listed on the tax bill" what were you implying? That the homestead thing would prove he was actually there?
If you do the math, there is NO HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION on that tax bill anyway.
Why would Watchtower want people to think he's in North Carolina if he's actually somewhere else?

Silentbuddah claims to have driven by his house and seen him there. Also he has a brand new car.
if I was in USA I would certainly do a trip there and set up one of those motion capture hidden cameras pointing at his house. They are not breaking any laws. You are allowed to film in public areas.
if anyone started a go fund me project to film him then I would contribute

The second house, which is very close to Anthony Morris' is tax free since it is owned by the Watchtower.
Whose living there? I thought that it may have been bought as a place for his sons, who are Bethelites, to stay when they visit their parents as they wouldn't want them associating with the local congregation and put them under pressure for gossip or to make it more convenient for them to visit regularly and not have to live at their parents house and be under their influence.
But, there's another possibility and it goes with my theory that Morris had either injured himself whilst drunk or that he has an illness brought on by too much drinking. Maybe a JW nurse (and family) is staying there to look after him. The cost would be minimal, being a full time worker for the Watchtower.

It's a The Firm (Grisham) like scenario.
