I think you all should change your attitudes.
Honestly, How Do You Think You Handle Criticism???

It takes me some time to digest criticism, to see if it was valid or just a flame. I realize people can get passionate about issues, but I find name-calling an immature way for adults to debate. If someone tells me I'm stubborn, I might have to agree--but perhaps it's not bad to be stubborn at times.
I don't feel comfortable in criticizing. I don't mind pointing out inconsistencies I find, but to point it out without seeming rude is sometimes tough. I guess that is why, at this time, I generally avoid rough and tumble debates; I'm still getting to know people, their attitudes, and whether I can have some trust in their motivation. And then I can evaluate criticism better.
I do not like hatred that parades as "criticism".

How Do You Think You Handle Criticism???
That depends. Am I the one criticizing or am I the one being criticized?

I hate criticism but love feedback
Guess it really depends on who is giving it. If they are someone I respect I find it a lot easier to take.
And the less I respect the person the harder I take it. I know that is the one I need to ignore but it just seems to trigger many of my childhood issues and then I get stuck in the feelings and find it hard to get out of it
Hey I'm still a work in progress

Criticism is good - if done correctly. Nobody wants to say that you've got something hanging in your moustache, but, think about if nobody said anything! You'd be walking around all day like a dink, trying to impress girls......
Same with other things... people can sometimes see what we cannot. It's good!

When I was in Art School an instructor mentioned that we would get 'hammered' all the time. She told us to consider two things about the criticism, the source and the motivation. Does this person know what they are talking about? Is the intent to help or hurt?
In management I always used the sandwich method, start out with something positive, slip in the point you wanted the person to work on, and then end on a compliment. This puts off their defenses, lets them hear what you need them to hear and then leaves them feeling good about themselves.
