Hmm you might be on to something Blondie. I always wondered how the rank and file can seemingly totally forget all the failed promises and put all their faith in the lastest one.

Now what, you know that Jehoopla reveals truth to his chosen people slowly, and often in a zig zag fashion. The Bible says so! 😂😂😂

Every time they have "new light," the Governing Body gives all credit to Jehovah. But later, when that "new light" is declared incorrect because of "newer light," what are they basically doing? They're calling God a liar! Well, what does the Bible say about the men who make up the GB? Romans 3:4, states: "Let God be true, but every man a liar."

They either have to imply that Jehovah mislead them, or they have to admit that they did not receive the signal clearly, or... they have to admit that they are making it all up.

None of those makes them seem trustworthy. Is it that God is incompetent? Is it that the GB is incompetent? Or is it that the GB are selling snake oil? What other explanation is there?

I was always under the impression or understanding that God cannot lie.

Maybe an organization can 💡,,, though

    New 💡 light.

Beth Sarim, the WTS has this definition of what lying is: "While malicious lying is definitely condemned in the Bible, this does not mean that a person is under obligation to divulge truthful information to people who are not entitled to it" Evidently, the WTS feels that some in their organization aren't entitled to know the truth. Like hiding child abusers in their organization.

Jehovah lovingly gives new light to the faithful and discreet slave by increasing their knowledge and understanding of his word the bible.
Watchtower doctrine and predictions that have been adjusted over time are not necessarily failures, but rather the perfecting of mankind's ability to understand Jehovah. Also, many brothers and sisters have misinterpreted the slave's direction or wanted different outcomes. Thus, most of the adjustments that are made are only clarifications to brother's and sister's errant thinking. We would do well to heed the wise and discreet counsel given to us by Jehovah through his slave!
Can I get a job in the writing department?
