My DC convention program:
sing song, mess up the words cuz I can hardly keep my mushed JW mind focused anymore

stand up, clap clap clap
go to the bathroom, walk around & see the teenage JW girls wearing dresses that are 3 sizes too small
sit down
zzzzzzzzzzzzz
eat lunch
zzzzzzzzzzzzz
clap clap clap
more zzzzzzzzzzzzz
out to dinner, "wasn't that great blah blah blah"

Wow! This sure did bring back old memories for me. Every summer our family vacation was always centered around attending a District Convention somewhere. And they were SO BORING!!!! When I got old enough to volunteer in the food booths, I was so excited 'cause then I didn't have to sit next to my parents and try to stay awake anymore. My other volunteering friends and I would sneak out and walk around outside. We didn't care if it was 107 degrees outside and inside was air-conditioned. We were ESCAPING!!! LOL
My parents have already planned meeting my sister and other friends in Tucson this summer. Glad I have finally escaped for good.
