As it continues to loose money I think it will go bankrupt and never really make it to a purely online religion/corporation, perhaps different people inside the WT corporation may try to start there own online religion, in fact I would think as they continue to loose money they will also loose control over people, because of selling/liquidating meeting places, and not having Circuit Overseer's(company men) to make sure everyone is obeying the WT corporation.
I don't think they will be able to get that much contributions from the faithful in that future state of affairs so I kind of see them just fizzling out of existence because nobody really gives two shits about them anymore accept some die-hard faithful who are so poor, that they don't have a pot to piss in because they seriously applied WT's financial advice and so their loyalty will bring very little needed money into WT coffers.
For the younger more affluent JWs as news continues to spread about the WT corporations evils many will loose interest and stop traveling to the few and far between meeting places for regular indoctrination sessions, despite all the bullshit that the organization try to shovel their way to keep indoctrinating yourself on a regular basis.

Demonetization and AI taking over much of the employment market you know sell driving cars, trucks, and what have you is bound to happen in the very near future. Because the future is changing so rapidly creating all sorts of problems for mind control cults that are running their whole business model stuck on delusional ideas that are never ever gonna come true it's a house of cards just waiting for the slightest jiggle to collapse it.
If they don't restructure their business model they are doomed. Keeping a bunch of brain dead old men stuck in delusions of great authority, self importance, requiring everyone to kiss their ass with unquestioning obedience in charge is not the way to future longevity. They need people more intelligent and more honest(not in denial) to run things to give this corporation a chance at survival which I don't think could ever happen but I could be wrong.

Where is the thread on the WT hiring outside Law firms? Those in power maybe overriding the Governing Body's wishes or maybe this was suggested to them in some business course they took in how to run a non profit corporation who really knows. But it is about time they started relying on worldly lawyers their in house legal team are worthless, and are nothing but Governing Body yes men, look at all the trouble they let the Governing Body get into, and even gave illegal advice about handling child molestations inside the congregation to elders(they need to be fired).
I think the WT in house legal council may have great difficulty representing them in court because I'm thinking the courts are going to revoke their priviledges to practice because of this bad legal council they have been caught giving in the Montana case, so it maybe bye bye to these inhouse guys and worldly(Satan's) lawyers all the way in the very near future.
And quite possibly a complete restructure of power and responsibility?

This is a very definite step in the right direction for the WT corporation, seems like the 2 witness rule will no longer need to be changed if they do as the law firm tells them, shame for them to just waste their money by not following this advice:

Good question. I'm sure many in house lawyers are pretty pissed about their having to represent the WT corporation which has become a big steaming pile shit all over the internet. I really think ALL the in house lawyers don't believe the Governing Body are the Faithful & Discreet Slave, and they know it's a scam, and unconsciously or consciously they are driving the WT corporation to its own deserved Armageddon. That could also be a reason the WT corporation is seeking worldy legal help.
