LOL "made redundant" = "your job becomes obsolete" or in my case... they found another part of the country / world where it can be done cheaper.

Ballistic, it's happening everywhere- this cost cutting is getting ridiculous- my husband used to work for Social Services.....they PRIVATISED his section ! unbelieveable- the whole point of it was people- not profit...
