Is this one of those videos where they show what NOT to do, then use that as a basis for discussion in the elders meeting??
The GB have done that in the past. (remember that video a few years back showing the wrong way to console a sister who lost her husband to death?)

In Jehovah's Watchtower Land, Sarah is not carrying her weight. She's trying but seems a little tired out. She's not meeting the high standards that are required for the title of ''Pioneer.'' We can show her scriptures on other men of the Bible couldn't carry their weight any longer. Sarah did pioneer for ''only'' eight years and that isn't breaking any records. She's only spent 6400 hours as a Pioneer in the last 8 years and now that she spends only 600 hours per year, we need to inform her that the title ''Pioneer'' needs to be pulled.My question is: Why does anyone pioneer? How did 80 hours a month in service make you a better Jehovah's Witness than if you did 10 hours a month of field? If you never had to fill out a form with the knowledge of the the Elders and the congregation members that you were a '' Pioneer,'' would you still do it? -

OK, I have watched it right through now, and sadly I think it is legit!
I think it is actually a video designed to show them the CORRECT way of handling things! I had hoped it was a video showing how NOT to handle matters...but alas...they really are that arbitrary and legalistic and full of self importance!

OMG, I can't stop laughing, I have never been an 'elder', I am a woman, haha, and all this negotiating about 'Sarah's surgery' and '3 month recuperation time' they sound like Hal the computer with their "we gave her 3 months like the Dr said, and she still didn't make it"!
Is this a comedy? I can only take one minute at a time w/o stopping to laugh!
