So far an Islamic group and a Hindu group are interested in it.

I have heard of that K.Hall complex in Surrey. Evidently it is to be no more.

I watched this...So, not only are they losing their kingdom hall but he’s losing his home (?) unless I didn’t hear that right.
I’m sorry for him and people in other places who gave their time, money and lifeblood to build or beautify WT properties- only to see a land grab and sale. This guy is being served with papers to evict him as a caretaker..The religion would like him to go quietly into the night - along with anybody else kicked out of their facilities (bethelites)..
I’m glad he’s being vocal but in the long run I don’t know if he’ll have any success. What a shame!

that petition he has put up is a bit late isnt it? not that I would have signed it anyway, what a demise and that complex was always being spoken about.

You would think that experience would have been enough to wake paul up don`t you think ?
If I heard this right he`s appealing to JW`s and whoever else to sign a petition to keep the site going as a JW concern ?

PS: Has this video been shown on here before ? I seem to recall seeing it a long time ago ?

Kim and Mike did a YouTube on this and Paul, the caretaker a couple of days ago.
It would be interesting to hear this story in whole.
The Watchtower was not allowed to own any houses in this property as it was registered for religious purposes only. The houses that were in the property were owned by Elderly JWs including Paul, the caretaker but the Watchtower could ask them to sell their properties to the Watchtower Trust and include them in the sale to make it more attractive to prospective buyers, if they agreed. Paul did not want this to happen and Kim reported that he gets to keep his property. Also the wall the Watchtower erected was found to be illegal.
