How do you prefer your escargot's?
With butter and garlic sauce or without?
I like them with butter and garlic with a sprinkling of parsley too.

I have only had them with garlic and butter. how else are they eaten? My experience with escargot was that they felt like seafood but tasted like a vegetable...it was odd.

I love them with butter, garlic, onion, paprika and a little brandy, baked with a little fresh Parmesan on top. I also love to saute them with olive oil, chopped fresh tomatoes, garlic, onion, and fresh mint. Either way: mmmmmmm.

uuummm Garlic butter with lots of fresh bread to soak up the juices.....

While on the subject of exotic foods, has anyone had caviar? What's it like?
The most exotic I've had is rattlesnake, but I enjoyed it.
