They can do that? Well, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, but that’s a little scary. I thought they need a letter of your intent.

I was never DF'd... I was one of those elder/co track type of guys, but I was pretty liberal still. I was in a very liberal congregation in the Bay Area. I DA'd about a year and a half ago.

I have just faded away. I will not allow them to label me.
I faded as well, yet they do label us as, inactive or fallen away.
Disfellowshipped, second time now. I attend meetings from time to time (twice since the memorial). Yes, I guess I allowed them to put a label on me.
I was df'd for four years, got reinstated then faded away.
DF'ed here for 'relations before marriage' almost 6 years ago.
Just now recently attending regularly again... and always searching for truth :)
