I remember once my mom and step-dad went on a vacation (he's an MS for years) for 3 weeks....no one noticed! She was so hurt. -

GREAT THREAD Punk! Thanks for starting it!
Yes, this is one of the most annoying things.
If they REALLY missed us, then why not call or go for a coffee!
The real point they are making is "You WERE NOT at the hall...you wicked unappreciative so and so"
This highlights the reality that most were not REAL friends, but just associates with a common faith. Its a classic case of "CONDITIONAL friendship".

I've actually had this said to me, along time ago when I missed a few meetings. My thought deep inside was that you really don't miss "me", you really don't know "me" because all you know is "me" at the meetings and that's it!
You don't know me at home. You don't know me at work or at the bowling alley. You just know me at the meetings, pretty shallow!

They won't be missing me when the dollar does become toilet paper--and the longer it takes, the worse it will be when it does happen. Instead, they will miss the possibility of what they can get from me. Blackouts? They want my batteries and flashlights so they can use them at a$$emblies. They will be wanting all food, water, silver and gold, and whatever else they can take and redistribute.
Christi-SCAM-ity in general, and the jokehovian witlesses in specific, mean communism.

Not only have I had the " we have missed you at the meetings" I have received a loving letter in the post, the contents of which did not ask, but assumied that I would meet with the elders at the K.H.
My advice is once you stop going to meetings stay away. Because if you do go back you put yourself on the elders radar, and a guaranteed invitation to a rather unpleasant meeting ( interogation) to discuss your faith in Jehovers organisation.
