The sister prayed to Jehovah for help to reach this woman. This time she asked the woman friendly questions such as "How are you? How did you enjoy the magazines?" At first, there weas no response but after a few more visits, the lady began to warm up. One time she opened the door wide, but the conversation was brief. Since the woman was reluctant to talk to the Witness at the door, the pioneer wrote her a letter to explain the purposes of the visit and to offer a Bible study. Finally, after a year and a half of patient effort,a Bible study was started. "She was surprised and encouraged when the woman later told her:"I have believed in God since the time you started to bring me the magazines."........................
A year and a half to just get her to open the door. The Lord truly does work in mysterious ways. Let's all sing psalms and praises to the Lord. God be praised.

A girl jerked me off in my garage for the first time when I was 12, it was a BIG DEAL EXPERIENCE for me as I had to go to the meeting that night! Yet I felt even better the second time she did it and soon after I left the congregation and became an apostate serving many in need of Watchtower Quotes!\

Why would we think that any of these experiences were reality. We all know how the wbts makes things up, lies, denies, uses intelectual dishonesty.
I believe a lot of these "experiences?" are also figments of the imagination.
Or demented publishers.
I at one time inserted in a talk, the craziest explanation of how water could not be gotten, anywhere except from nature. Completely ignored scientific knowledge about this. I wanted to see if someone would call me on it.
No one did!!
Another time I described the ways an aircraft was able to get lift, when in motion from the wings and the angle of attack at takeoff.
I had an elder scold me for using "mans" methods and information in a talk.
Go figure.

Here's another "BIG DEAL" experience. This is from March 1, 2003 WT entitled,"I FOUND EVERYTHING THAT I NEEDED"......."I prayed to God to let me die. Seeking direction, I prayed intensely to Jehovah. I also decided to read the 2002 Yearbook of Jehovah's Witnesses and completed it in 3 days. I have to say that it encouraged me enormously and strengthened my faith. I did some research in the Watchtower and Awake! magazines, and what a surprise I had! I have read these magazines regularly for over 15 years, but I never realized just how encouraging and stimulating the articles are. They are full of love---a quality that is so rare these days. I found everything that I needed."...................

Give me a freakin' break. I prayed to Jehovah to let me die, and nothing happened. So does Jehovah want me to die? I guess by the experiences he / she does..... because he helped one person and not another.
Give me a break. Just more mind control, just more guilt, implying that enough is never enough. The WTBTS can kiss my butt.

At the Dist Conv recently, a couple was interviewed; pioneers in some forelorn territory, studied with about 10 people (not that many for two people working full time for two years) and one, yes, that's one, got baptized. When the sister said he was a man who was bipolar, you could have heard a pin drop.
