Egyptian freemasonry teachings are woven through all of "Pastor Russell's" writings.

If you can't see it, then you're blind.

(Or maybe you're a freemason too and you're covering for Watchtower.)

Research done by Barbara Anderson, an ex-jw that has done deep research on the claim that Russell was a Freemason. https://watchtowerdocuments.org/charles-taze-russell-was-not-a-pennsylvania-freemason/

And some other research not by Barbara Anderson:

The Grand Lodge of British Columbia and Yukon has said that Russell was not a Freemason,[113][114] and notes that the symbols pre-date the fraternity.[115]

In June 1913, during a transcontinental speaking tour, Russell lectured in a Masonic hall in San Francisco, saying:

Although I have never been a Mason… Something I do seems to be the same as Masons do, I don't know what it is; but they often give me all kinds of grips and I give them back, then I tell them I don't know anything about it except just a few grips that have come to me naturally.[116]

Throughout his ministry he said that he believed Christian identity is incompatible with Freemasonry.[117] He described Freemasonry, Knights of Pythias, Theosophy, and other such groups as "grievous evils" and "unclean".[118][119]

I have never met Barbara Anderson, although I have seen some of her videos.

People have different gifts, but I have never met a perfect person or someone who never made mistakes.

I don't follow the Governing Body. I also don't follow any other man or woman as if they are a "governing body" for me and my belief system. I believe in thinking for myself.

It doesn't surprise me anymore when Watchtower leaders lie and say they represent God even though they don't. It also doesn't surprise me when masons lie about who is and who isn't a mason. They're part of the same organization.

Russell was a liar. He lied about a lot of things. He lied about being God's representative. He lied about his business scams. He lied about pyramids. He lied about not being a mason.

I am sorry for people who either are still being duped or who are throwing their lot in with liars, because it's the same as just choosing to be a loser.

Thankfully, people can change their minds on things.

Anna, aka easyprompt and other names of ill repute, you're confusing me with my mother. But then you're confused about everything else. My mom was much nicer than I am. Just curious; why were you disfellowshipped?

I thought EasyPrompt and all the other "names of ill repute" were permanently banned from this forum by means of some kind of special technical means where her MAC address was shunned or something else the really smart tech guys can do...

How could she possibly have come back when up against such mighty forces?

Isn't she a witness of Jehovah?

Anyway, I didn't know Barbara Anderson was your mom.

I have been disfellowshipped by Watchtower, yes. For not bending the knee to a bunch of men who were pretending to be my lord.

I am not a kiss ass like some other people who prefer to take orders from some hierarchy with orders and vows and such-like pomp and ceremony.

Do you and your mom belong to any special order, @Vienne?

A halfway competent person can reset their MAC address, something you well know.

Mom's dead. The only special order she belong to was 'educator.' Oh and 'mother.'

Me, I belong to is the "order of containment of feral third graders" and the mid-Saturday coffee club.

While my mom occasionally exchanged emails with Barbara, we've never spoken. Wrong again. No surprise there.

Elaborate on the reason you were disfellowshipped. It seems as if you've left out key details. Why would you do that?
