PS: girls who do dress very provocatively play with fire. its sad but its the truth.
first u make a statement that implies u think it is ok to hit if u are provoaked, now u are saying, maybe rape is ok since the poor guy was lured?

One problem is, that the criminals many times have "rights" that make it very difficult to prosecute. In the case of Al Capone, as mentioned above, we all know that he participated in many criminal activities, but the prosecution was just happy to at least nail him with something.
I imagine it is very frustrating for the prosecutors.
Wait a minute everyone!!!
Farkel was very adamant earlier that these postings should only be about the "spitting only." Lets get back on track!
Sorry Farkel, several of us are idiot posters and cannot seem to stay on the original post. Please forgive us.
Well, to think of it, I don't need your forgiveness for anything.
wednesday,
stay fair here please! i did not say at all that hitting or raping someone is ok! and if you have read my post you know that.
logical fact is that if someone provokes a certain action one is playing with fire. one can say everybody has to have absolute control over his/her emotions but fact is not everybody has.
if i go to mike tyson and start to provoke him i have to expect him to punch me unconscious. do i condone such an action? certainly not but i am not surprised if it happens.
same is true with rape. if a girl send out the signal that she wants sex it is more likely that she will get raped. it is a logical consequence.
these staements might not be politically correct but they are logical.
Oh, Realist....(groan...)
No matter how a woman/young girl is dressed, there is no. The word NO. Once those words come out of her mouth, it is rape. I don't care if she is naked and carrying a sign saying "Come F-...K Me."
Rape does not happen for sex. It is a crime to degrade and harm. It is a crime to hurt.
A man who cannot control his sex drive long enough to find a dark corner with his hand, needs to have ......I won't say what my idea of justice is. Let's just say Lorena Bobbitt would be proud.
Wearing provocative clothing has been happening for centuries. Just depends on your definition of provocative. When someone forces themselves on a woman and degrades her this way.....well, rapists definitely don't get enough jail time here in the US.
teenyuck,
how many times do i have to say that i do not condone rape or violence in general?
clear is that if you provoke something you put yourself at risk no matter what the politically correct standpoint is.
if a girl tells a guy she wants sex but after both get undressed says NO than she is at higher risk of getting raped than a girl who did not give him the impression of wanting intercourse. to me that is quite logical.
humans are not perfect spirit guided beings but biorobots who sometimes do not respond in the politically correct way.

Its not an issue of political correctness!! If they respond in a criminal (not PC) way then they will pay the price. I woman can strip totally naked and then change her mind. If the guy rapes her he isnt facing the charge of going against political correctness, whats your point?
Brummie
brummie,

its pretty clear what i mean. if a woman strips she is putting herself at higher risk of getting raped than when she does not give the impression of wanting sex - irrespective of whether rape is a criminal action or not.
I see your point Realist, but even if she puts herself at higher risk by getting nekkid and then changing her mind it doesnt mean she has done anything wrong, she just changed her mind. The guy who takes the action against her is the criminal not her. Thats why I said, whats your point? You are agreeing with teenyuck but respond as if you arnt
Sorry I'm tired, I get confused easily when I'm tired... bare with me, but dont put yourself at risk.
brummie,
i agree essentially with what you said and i would assume that 99.9% of all people will agree that rape is dispicable.
however a girl who changes her mind in the last moment most likely has done something wrong or stupid. its like driving with 120mph on the highway...you don't deserve a terrible accident because of it but you make a crash more likely and that is partially your responsibility.
realist,
u might as well have run into a crowded theater and yelled "fire".
Your views are dated, and are views that many have fought against, ie did the woman do anything to provoke the rape? Did the woman provaoke the man so she got beat?
Truly we are not animals realist, we are people who can make choices. No one is forced to rape, or beat another person. It is a choice.
