Anita Baker is my favorite. I love her! I've seen her about 5 times. She started a comeback tour late last year but I haven't seen her around here yet. When I saw Chaka a few weeks ago, she sang for over 1 hour and showed her wonderful range. I've seen Stevie Wonder, all the Jacksons, and the great Tom Jones, too.
I think my first real concert was - Fabulous Thunderbirds / ZZ Top / Rolling Stones. 1981, Halloween no less!
Seen Pink Floyd, Rush a couple of times, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Chicago.
Went to the one of the two 9/11 benefit concerts. I think almost every 80's band was there.
I actually prefer to see acts in smaller clubs. Concert crowds are just too...crowded.
I know who i'd like to see.
Nora Jones, that lady can sing!
doubt if I can remember them all but ---------------- first concert I think was beach boys ,journey , cheap trick , rush , ozzy osbourne , anthrax , metalica . mega deth , plant and page . zz top , golden earing , poison , great white ,quiet riot ,korn ,jimmie vaghn and thunderbirds , the eagles , pantera when they were playing the local bars . can't complain about any of them loved it all. guns and roses is another. edited to add ---- Foo fighters and The Cult two awesome shoes if ever I seen it .

I bought her CD yesterday. LOVE her!! She is so young too.
I forgot we also went to see Frank Sinatra, and Tony Bennett, and Bob Hope. Not all at once, and a LONG time ago. Back in the 60's.
Anita Baker is my favorite. I love her!
Gee Minimus, imo you certainly have good taste! ABaker is da best! I have everything she ever did from the first songstress album up to the latest "best of" album.
Bet you'll like Regina Belle too?

Don't know why, by Nora Jones
I waited 'til I saw the sun
I don't know why I didn't come
I left you by the house of fun
I don't know why I didn't come
I don't know why I didn't come
When I saw the break of day
I wished that I could fly away
Instead of kneeling in the sand
Catching teardrops in my hand
My heart is drenched in wine
But you'll be on my mind
Forever
Out across the endless sea
I would die in ecstacy
But I'll be a bag of bones
Driving down the road alone
My heart is drenched in wine
But you'll be on my mind
Forever
Something has to make you run
I don't know why I didn't come
I feel as empty as a drum
I don't know why I didn't come
I don't know why I didn't come
I don't know why I didn't come
