That was so sweet. My mom is up there in her 70's and not well. I think about it all the time, 3,000 miles away. I wish I could do more for her. I get so angry sometimes when I think about how much of her life she spent dedicating herself to "helping others" and looking forward to "the new system" when things will be perfect. Her hot water heater went out and I can't get her a new one right now. I won't be able to for another month. You'd think that everyone in her KH could pitch in and put a hot water heater in an old lady's house? Hell no.
The only thing the PO seemed to be concerned about was the fact that she wasn't making it to the meeting regularly anymore and that worried them. UNBELIEVABLE!
Maybe the broken hot water heater was a blessing in disguise. The abundance of christians surrounding her, including all the other denominations running the bible belt, and they can't squeeze out 1 f*&% hot water heater. Guess they expect her to go to the KH and pray for one.
