Since the new book was for "younger" kids, I don't think they would include information on masturbation (JH's recent post notwithstanding) I DO find the non-information on blood interesting however. Possibly another sign that lawyers are having more say.

Hello metatron,
thanks for the topic. A sharp observation
concerning the missing issues:
"blood transfusion " and " masturbation".
I wonder if ...the legal aspect prevails
as in the case of 'blood transfusion'.

You are assuming that the
lawyerswriters at the WT are being logical; why would you think that? In this book they state that demons like to pick on children. Is that a logical or reasonable thing to put into a children's book? I wouldn't allow any small child to even look through that thing. -

Well there are certain levels of logic and reasonableness and one being illogical in one regard does not necessarily mean they will not be logical in another. Knowing the witness organization and their 'conservative' stance on sexual issues, I think its 'logical' that they would not include information on masturbation seeing that it is a book aimed at 6-11 year olds.

I realize that this is a book for six to eleven years olds, but don't these children need guidance too? What is the proper age for dub children to stop masturbating?

The book plainly talks about how the demons want us to play with each other's
vulva or penis (!!! I'm not kidding) so I took note when I was unable to find any
reference to playing with your own genitals.

Did the old Great Teacher book mention blood or masturbation? I don't have a copy anymore.
