Aaron,
Dearest IW,I am not a Roman.
And neither are you a prophet or hearer of God's voice. You are a charlatan.
IW
Dear Kes152 and all the other people who hear god,
I have been properly thrashed, for suggesting that you may be some kind of nut. bzzz You hear voices? Fine. Tell me what they say, and I will bzzz follow you. I promise never again to poke fun at you. bzz You have every right bzzz to express what you feel is truth. I would be honored if you would come with me bzzz when I approach the watchtower society with my findings. I could use good bzzz stable people like you bzzzz on my side, to help get my family back.
I am sorry for relying on what I feel to be common sense, bzzz when responding to your public post. I know that when you put your post out here in public, you had no intention bzzz of someone with another opinion, responding to it.
Sincerely

I see plenty of people being highly offensive here, when no occasion for such has been given.
IW, where has he prophesied falsely?
LT, of the ducking and running class
Good Morning,
I believe that God shows us our path thru dreams and experiences we have. We become who we were meant to be through our experiences. We finally make it to the path that we wanted to experience in this life. I do believe in reincarnation.
I believe that thru learning about unconditional love for all mankind to be the main message of the bible. Nothing more.
I just wonder about God being all knowing. How come he didn't realize the Angels were going to take women on the earth and produce offspring. How come he couldn't see it? Does that mean there is a flaw in God?
How come everyone had to die so he could destroy the Nephilim? Albeit Noah and family and all those precious animals. Did that mean that the animals meant more to God than mankind. I know that only the believers chose to take the ride as the animals had no choice. Or is it all a fictitious lie? How come we needed a Human sacrifice to weigh the scales? So the Angels in heaven were watching on and God didn't want to seem like an idiot with the challenge presented so let all of mankind use their free will to make choices to destroy themselves. Are we all sacrifices so God doesn't again look like an Idiot? It was not the fault of man that the Angels came to earth and took women. Man has paid the price time and time again.
It seems to me that mankind who are imperfect get the blame and punishment for things that happen in the heavens and then we are to fear Satan and love God?
I have come to terms with all this by feeling this way. It is all God's plan, no matter what happens I have to beleive that he has a higher plan and if I start to question God then I am like Satan, the Accuser.
What did Satan really Accuse God of? Do we know, were we there? We only have what was brought down and written by supposedly inspired men. Again a couple of books have been left out of the bible.
I will go sacrifice my bull on the altar sunday and hope the neighbors don't complain for it is written.

Alright....
I checked with my doctor. The general consensus among the medical community is, that if you hear voices.... You may need medication.
.... or shock therapy. bzzzz
Seeing someone who hears voices = GET ME THE HELL OUTTA HERE!

Hi Little Toe,
IW, where has he prophesied falsely?
The word prophesy also means: "to utter by or as if by divine inspiration."
Aaron claims to speak to us by God's spirit. He though has not proven himself to be a prophet of God and as a former JW I now require proof from anyone who claims to be inspired of God or who speaks for God.
Anyone who claims to speak for God and truly does, should be able to prove before all onlookers their claim. Just as the prophets in the Bible proved they had God's Spirit so also prophets today should be able to give proofs. Just a few walks on water, or a few risings of the dead, or a few predictions is all I ask.
No proof? No prophet!
IW
I don't see Aaron making predictions, nor inciting people to follow "other gods" (Deut.13 & 18).
I do see him declaring that many are hard-hearted and don't listen (there are plenty of current threads suggesting exactly that behaviour, take the debate on
"Ghosts?"
for an example).
Would you rather he just quoted scripture on the same subject, claiming that he felt "moved" to do so?
Eg: 2Ki.17:13-15:
"Yet the LORD testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the prophets, and by all the seers, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets.
Notwithstanding they would not hear, but hardened their necks, like to the neck of their fathers, that did not believe in the LORD their God.
And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the LORD had charged them, that they should not do like them."
Why be so hard? At worst you might brand him eccentric.
Otherwise, IMHO it sounds like good counsel (regardless of whether or not you apply it in a spiritual setting).
Just my 2p
Hi Little Toe,
I don't object to what Aaron had to say only to his claim of speaking for God. I believe that insults God and us.
