Everytime we are outright nasty to one another it makes Satan's heart glad.......So acting nice can be a very good thing and then I can make a reply to him that is taunting me.

Just the fact that this board is here and so many people are helping each other through some difficult stuff I think makes a difference. I know I have a much different perspective on all things JW after coming here and reading all you guy's posts. Thank you!

You just never know when one comment will make a difference in someones life. Could be here, could be elsewhere. If it happens, then that is great.

Good lord an M & M with a "god complex", what next???

Some posters have made an incredible impact on my life.....others have had a minor but at the time significant impact....when I was down a few days ago some kind words from a few thoughtful posters really made a difference in how I felt. (((((you know who you are ))))) I appreciated their time and the kind gesture....there are some really good people on this site...

    then again...

a few posters have made a negative impact also, fortunately they are rare and I can ignore them

As for myself, I can only hope that I at least make people smile from time to time...even if it is just at my "stupid" threads and comments

Yes, but how much a difference depends on the poster of course.

Posters here have made a difference in my life and I'm sure in others too.

How big a difference it is and whether it is positive or negative depends on both the poster and us.

It would be nice to think that something I have typed here has made a positive difference to someone else's life. But that's not entirely my purpose for posting here.

Comparing notes with others is extremely helpful. I'm more convinced than ever that my decision to leave the JWs was not the result of me having a "bad attitude" or "having a grudge against the brothers", but due to recognizing that the organization is fatally flawed, beyond repair, and realizing that my own conscience could no longer support my continuing to be a JW.

My posting here has made a difference in someone's life: my own.

I think so. It certainly has opened many doors for myself in my healing process. I can see my growth has changed sense being on this board. Hopefully will make a difference to others who are on their journey. And to know each one of us are not alone.

Reading others' posts has been very helpful for me. Shared experiences, attitudes, just knowing I am not alone. It was a big step for me to post on this board, lots of fear. But it has been worth it. Strength & humour just radiates from this place!

    Thanks,folks!!!
