Brothers in Taiwan Told Not To Miss Meetings Because of SARS!!!!

A missionary from Taiwan mentioned that the brothers in Hong Kong have been told that they are not showing faith in Jehovah God by missing meetings because of the outbreak of SARS. They were told to rely upon Jehovah and not stay away from the brothers......So, what do you think???

As I understand it, they were told this at the meetings by the elders. My guess would be that they didn't do it on their own.

As many of us are only too well aware, this report bears the hallmarks of being truth i.e. it's very likely.

In my recollection, the attitude of branch office leaders has ben much like this report. There's NO WAY they'd approve of cancelling meetings. No way in the world.

Yes it does sound genuine. I was just thinking that to have such a thing in writing would be a handy club to clobber them with.

At most, the evidence would be a letter to BOE, but even that is not likeley. Rather, verbal instructions would have been given to the city overseers etc to pass on....and those ever obedient CO's
