What Do You Like About Biden's Build Back Better Agenda & the Democrat's Build Back Better Act? Is it liberal and progressive enough for you or do you wish it would go further? https://www.vox.com/22711083/biden-reconciliation-build-back-better-polls-infrastructure has some comments about it. From reading it I learned that apparently the official name of the reconciliation bill for the progressive portion of the infrastructural bill is called the Build Back Better Act.

I like the provisions for green energy as well as for lower health care costs and lower prescription drug costs.

It’s a massive boondoggle. It will raise prices on everything from healthcare to energy and at the end we will have nothing to show for it.

Its basically a communist wishlist that puts the cost of it 6 years down the line. They’ll spend 7T today, over 10 years the total cost is over 20T. They just artificially let the programs “end” 2-6 years from now knowing full well they’ll just be renewed.

If you want to look at the end result, Detroit was a model city with much of the same provisions, as was Chicago and NYC and California dabbled at times with similar policies.

The plan, all the spending, is based on the philosophy that really good things come from the government. In reality, markets are the best coordinator. The farther you stray from the markets, the more waste, bubbles, anger, resource squandering you get.

It has gone too far as it is - and some think (as you state) it isn't going far enough. The push along this philosophical line will cause more and more dysfunction until there is a crisis.

And of course, markets will get the blame - either from the ignorant or the malevolent.
