Why would god choose the men running the WTS. when they were obviously corrupt charlatans , date setting of Christ's return , an action that Jesus himself condemned ?
Who really is the faithful and discreet* slave whom his master appointed over his domestics, to give them their food at the proper time?

w72 4/1 p. 197-200 ‘They Shall Know that a Prophet Was Among Them’
"So, does Jehovah have a prophet to help them, to warn them of dangers and to declare things to come? These questions can be answered in the affirmative." . . . "This “prophet” was not one man, but was a body of men and women. It was the small group of footstep followers of Jesus Christ, known at that time as International Bible Students. Today they are known as Jehovah’s Christian witnesses.
"As time went on and further developments fulfilled the prophecy of Ezekiel, a three-volume set of books titled “Vindication” provided an up-to-date understanding, showing more fully the application of the prophecy.
Thus this group of anointed followers of Jesus Christ, doing a work in Christendom paralleling Ezekiel’s work among the Jews, were manifestly the modern-day Ezekiel, the “prophet” commissioned by Jehovah to declare the good news of God’s Messianic kingdom and to give warning to Christendom.
"The scroll was doubtless delivered to Ezekiel by the hand of one of the cherubs in the vision. This would indicate that Jehovah’s witnesses today make their declaration of the good news of the Kingdom under angelic direction and support. (Rev. 14:6, 7; Matt. 25:31, 32) And since no word or work of Jehovah can fail, for he is God Almighty, the nations will see the fulfilment of what these witnesses say as directed from heaven.
"Yes, the time must come shortly that the nations will have to know that really a “prophet” of Jehovah was among them. Actually, now more than a million and a half persons are helping that collective or composite “prophet” in his preaching work and well over that number of others are studying the Bible with the “prophet” group and its companions."So here are the Governing Body, declaring themselves as prophets, as modern-day Ezekiels and teaching that the annointed were the FDS, not the Governing Body.
Did Jehovah tell his prophet to teach these false teachings? Surely not.
Deut. 18:20
But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.”
Rather than put them to death, you choose to follow them.

Well, the sheep have been told to "watch out" for "the wolfs." However in the end, it is the "good Sheppard" that kills some of them and fleeces the rest!
P.S. In Leo Greenless case (Governing Body member) sometimes they even screw some of the sheep!

Alex,
I realize I'm probably wasting my time and effort with you but perhaps a few lurkers will benefit.
Russell had a problem, which the modern day GB inherited, and instead of abandoning the problem they simply nurtured it and that problem grew and grew and grew.
The first one was 1914. He made a lot of predictions about that date. Whether you wish to try to hash over whether he was speculating or predicting them, I'll simply quote from him instead of allowing you to bend what he actually said. This first article is about what he predicted would happen about that date. And, if you pay attention to the 24 predictions he made about 1914, not a single one of them was about the greatest event that occurred in 1914 -- World War I, then to be known as The Great War. Introductory image follows with link here.
Yes, the succeeding GBs following with more failed dates. Intro image below, link Here.
Finally, let me introduce what I believe to be the greatest contradiction in the history of published writings -- period. It so happens that the blue ribbon honor for that belongs to -- wanna take a guess? No? Well, let me put you out of your misery. It's the Watchtower, JW.ORG, Jehovah's Witnesses, etc. Intro image below, link here.

Plain and simple .... by virtue of the WTS corrupt commercialization of the gospel they presented to the public which was tainted by commercialism, those and the ones leading the JWS today have made themselves sinning apostates in the eyes of god.

It’s a parable, not a prophecy. That is the first concept you need to grasp. Also, no, it’s not a parable with prophetic significance. You’re not allowed to do that when studying the Bible.
It’s really simple. If you believe the Bible then any Xian can be a faithful and discreet slave and be rewarded, or cast outside. Furthermore the Master can use you in any way he wishes and award you however he chooses as in the PARABLE of the 11th hour workers.
It’s worth noting that just because you may be a “successful” religious example ( I won’t say leader ) and financially well off, or have all your needs cared for as in the case of the Governing Body, that does not mean you are a faithful slave. What matters is fruitage as mentioned in the PARABLE of the tree and it’s fruitage... If your fruitage is bad, then you are a rotten tree, no way around that according to Jesus.
Are you really going to argue with Jesus?

Alex, it'd be best if you'd just STFU and people might wonder if you're just stupid vs blabbering on and on and removing any further doubt.

I wonder if in a 100 years from now, they will still be bragging about World War One.
Could you imagine if you got a knock on your door “ well , My church didn’t fight in the war of 1812.”.

I did some research on this a number of years ago.
In the end I found that the FDS first mentioned by Jesus is later the one who was following the four horsemen of the apocalypse as detailed by John in Revelation 6:8. John refers to it as Death in that verse.
Some have suggested the FDS is actually riding on the Death horse but the scripture is unclear on that matter.
So whether the FDS was actually riding the horse or running alongside the horse is up for conjecture. Perhaps the fact that the horse was called Death may indicate the horse was sickly or nearing death so that it would be impractical to be riding on something that is very sick or weak.
While the details are not complete, we still can see the harmony that permeates the Scriptures.

Hey Alex
Read your bible mate, his apostles never asked this. It was a parable. Maybe you can answer this, if the WTBS is the faithful slave who is the wicked slave, which is part of the same parable - OR are you just quoting part scriptures these days?
I feel sorry for you either study and research the religion you are in or stop wasting everyone's time.
