    Yes, lots of new cases, but not a comparative number of new deaths.

    The increase in testing may be revealing more cases. The majority of new cases clearly do have the same high mortality rate and/or we have improved our treatment of those who suffer complications.

    And neither does COVID19.

    Since the start of the pandemic -- 10 million cases (USA) and 241,000 deaths = 0.4%

    Still higher than the Flu, but the mortality rate is much lower than it was 9 months ago.
