I've come across a guy on Youtube that has been approaching numerous JWs in public Cart Witnessing. Actually, calling it Witnessing is beyond a joke because most of the time they are just standing there and in the case of this Youtuber, they walk away in silence or turn their heads.

The Youtuber is not a JW and I don't think he ever was, he calls himself a Christian and I don't think he is affiliated with any particular religion.

There is one Video where he shows about 4 JWs standing on a square plate with a yellow marking on the edge, they each have their own plate.

I am curious as to why they are standing on these? A possibility is that it is some sort or rubber and provide some sort of safety benefit when standing for long periods of time.

Probably not safety so much as comfort. Those mats are great if you have to stand in one place for a long period of time (get one for your kitchen).

I figured that too sir82. If you have a job or a hobby that requires standing, those mats are great. Shoes just don't hack it.

Those mats looks like a great idea.

The guy in the video antagonizing the Witnesses is an asshole. I don't think I would of had the patience to deal with him

The video is a useful lesson in how not to challenge a JW.

They do look stupid standing on mats in the street though. And why would you not take off your sunglasses to talk to somebody?

**sigh** ...guy talking to the dubs.

But seriously, those 4 JWs look soooo unapproachable, to me anyway.

And I guess the brilliant minds at their congo thought to themselves, "hmmm...sitting and chatting amongst ourselves may not be the best idea. Let's put 4 carts together and stand facing out in four directions. That will bring em in!"

Agreed. What a tool. He is going to challenge their beliefs with equally stupid beliefs.

Still, i truly think this act of simply ignoring is fairly unfortunate. This seems to be very common among Jdubs, and there seems to be a fine line between engaging and ignoring. From what i've seen if your initial approach is softer and you get them to engage, you can them ramp it up once they are already engaged. Otherwise if you start in a fairly aggressive manner from the get-go, you'll get the ignore card right away.

The cameraman is the type of apostate that the society wants witnesses to believe are trying to pull people away from the "truth" - pathetic looser.

What I do not understand about this cart witnessing, why stand with four persons together, rather than spread out over town and reach more people before their loving God wipes out billions of humans. Totally inefficient.
