I've just figured it out. Those mats are producing Hallogram images of people standing over the carts. No wonder they are unresponsive to the guy verbally abusing them.

I was in the subway in NY yesterday and noticed that the cart people have chairs and were sitting. I guess there is no rule that the need to stand. -

These witness are standing right next to each cart looking like thier guarding them. Who would want to approach them for book or anything? Really stupid, jws don't even realize how dumb they look.
