I find it interesting that the letterhead says "Watchtower Bible & Tract Society," but the letter I received regarding my dad's death was headed "Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses." I guess that's proof of how fragmented the once united Society has become: a corporation for every deed.

I say put all those letters on CD and make them available to all who want them!

Euphemism
Okay... just a personal opinion. Spamming dubbies, while undoubtedly emotionally satisfying, just goes to legitimate the things that they claim about the low morals of apostates.
What really matters is fighting back where it counts... by keeping the documents up. I'm sure, Jourles, that we will all be happy to provide any support that you may need.

Ol' Freddie has a replacement. Instead of Fred Hall read [email protected]
Oh yeah Watchtower Troll: I am using your Watchtower for toiletpaper. Maybe you want them back too?
Here's another copyright-infringemnent.

Jourles,
you most likely have heard of http://www.chillingeffects.org
They maintain a database of companies/organizations who send out those "cease and desist" letters. As far as I know there is no entry of "Watchtower" in their database. You might consider sending them a message with this WT letter attached and request this be put up on their online searchable database for the whole damn world to see.
I'd love to see the Watchtower making company to the Scientologists on the db, and also making some headlines there.
They also have quite a few interesting links on copyright issues.
I read on the other thread you mentioned some people suggesting blacking out some portions of the letters, or maybe even showing just part of them. I, personally, don't like this idea since it takes away what makes them REALLY interesting, namely, the full context and content, proof of its authenticity, allowing the reader make a judgement by what he/she reads and not by what someone else thought would be the point worth exposing.
Whatever you decide please keep the original, unedited ones. I agree with others here who said that, if you don't, someone else will end up hosting them somewhere and the end result will be worst for the WT.
Man, I love those letters and am already missing them. They are truly damning as they show the WT has a lot to hide and a lot to be concerned about.
ADVERTISE. ADVERTISE. ADVERTISE.
Long live the internet!, the truly deliverer of the long-promised power of the information age.
Observador.

Thanks for the site Observador. I will check it out later and try to get the letter put up there. I also sent a detailed email to the Electronic Frontier Foundation(http://www.eff.org) to see if they would even be interested in looking into this matter and if there are any loopholes to take advantage of.
RR, I'm sending you an IM now.

Euph,
I agree. Since one of the above listed wt attorney's is my nephew, I would hope no one from this site spams anyone.
Spamming is childish regardless the motive.
Like you said it would just give their 'cult' mentality further justification for hating 'those apostates'.

Thanks Euph and Danny Bear. The post has been removed.
I know it's fun to think about doing things like spamming every WTS lawyer, but please, let's NOT give them a reason to try to shut down this site.
Love, Scully

Scully,
No, thank you Scully.
Someday I hope to be able to correspond with my little toeheaded nephew, I know it is probably a pipe dream, but I really loved the little tike as a child.
I keep hoping that with the college education that the wtbs provided for him, that he might be able to exercise some of that brain matter and truly see the light.
