Number of partakers is up by over 1000, or 5% to 20,526.

    That is mental...

It doesnt seem to bother Watchtower that the figure is going up. They already said many of those are not truly anointed ones

Why have the publishers only grown by 1.3 -1.4% yet the number partaking have jumped 5-10% the last few years?

Brazil and Mexico need to see their numbers slashed--I notice Latin America is growing the fastest outside Nigeria. This could lead people to start pushing learning of Spanish (for Mexico), Portuguese (for Brazil), or French (for many African countries where French is spoken). Get them to where the growth is still there before the Internet catches up with them.

Anyone wish to pull that rubbish on me, to get me to help them? Not only will I not lift a finger, but none of those countries with big growth speak German. Germany, Austria, and Switzerland are all experiencing barely any growth. I can only hope the other xian churches, notably the cat lick church, along with judaism and islam, all collapse along with the jokehovian witless religion.

At any rate, I wonder how much longer they can go on propping up those fake numbers. They can only turn in so many fake time slips. If they needed to be in a condition where, if Armageddon were to come right now, they would be assured of survival under their current theology, the numbers would probably be well under 800,000.

Average Population Growth is about 1.1% - so really No One is coming into the Org, just born-ins.

These past service year reports reveal the number of those being baptized over the past few years have really been low. Therefore, the ratio of baptized to total publishers is nothing for JWs to brag about. Recently, I was at a circuit assembly of about 1,400 in attendance (drumroll please) where only 1 (one) individual was baptized! It makes me wonder how many circuit assemblies within the U S branch territory there have been over these past few years where zero were baptized. It can be disappointing & embarrassing for proud JWs in attendance to witness this...obviously for me (PIMO) it was a happyfying experience. The point of my post is this...Mother cannot sustain herself for much longer with this non-baptismal trend. What will the organization do...what can it do? This very well can be the precursor we all have been looking for...the telltale sign of this cult's slow death!

A person with a full time job (40 hours per week) would be paid for 2080 hours in a full year. Given the 2,088,560,437 hours the Dubs spent "preaching", and the whopping large 303,866 that got dunked that is only about three and one-third years of forty hour weeks spent getting each person dunked. Who says that there are more productive ways to spend ones time? (Sarcasm)

A decrease of 3.2% in kingdom halls is good! If they maintain this same rate of 3.2% decrease over the next 35...... years there wont be be any Kingdom halls left!!!

    Iwantoutnow,

Its true the JWs can barely get an increase above the population rate, but actually they are still attracting people to get baptised. It was the highest for a long time this year. However their, big,big problem is they cant keep those people. So the result is, many come in threw the front door, but nearly the same amount leave by the back door. This is why they have just a 1.3% increase this year.

I agree with the above post. It’s always mystified me how they will put in all the time and money going around annoying people on a Saturday morning, and yet are so I’ll prepared in the retention and care of exisiting members. Seems to me they just ain’t learning.
