The 'Give Your Ice Cream Money to Jehovah' video was creepy enough. This anti-gay video takes JWs to a new level of creepiness. I wonder if they'll cartoonify the masturbation video for kids next?

Love it!
Possibly the only thing the WTS hates on a par with having to shell out money for lawsuits is prominent, public embarrassment and loss of prestige.
Such as this video is generating.
The few remaining intelligent ones at HQ have to be cringing.

I am not sure how much it embarrasses HQ, they may like it, who knows, but the world is getting a better glimpse inside the sick religion we all know intimately. I hope the more visibly it is condemned hopefully those inside on the edge of waking up will be embarrassed and start the journey out. -

They'll call it proof that the world is depraved and pat themselves on the back. -

For the niche market they cater to, this is just free publicity as well as confirmation for the people already in.
Even if 99 out of every 100 people don't like it, they still get to "reach" 1 person and possibly convert some of those.

I cannot imagine local JWs feeling embarrassed by the video. From their perspective, it tells the Bible truth in a mild and restrained manner. Of course, we see it as simplistic propaganda but we ought not think they will have the same reaction to it as non-JWs.
Let's face it: If they can fool themselves into thinking their shunning policy is reasonable, they are already assessing their extreme policies by a very different yardstick.

The JW's probably think this is giving a "good witness" (!) Fools that they are. Most jw's I've met seem to think that the rest of the world secretly agrees with the JW's in their view on gays.
Again fools.

I understand taking the devils advocate position, Simon and Steve2...but at this point, your position on this seems more like stubborn cynicism.
One talk commenting for a minute or two on tight pants being a homosexual conspiracy jolted me awake. So don't you think that this could wake some up? Why so negative and pessimistic on this?
