  Elders arranged a sort of informal visit by a more capable Elder accompanied by another brother who is more qualified than me from academic background. Their purpose was to reason with me as a last resort to avoid a JC.

  During the two-hour discussion, I could make my point clear to them: “I don’t think any one particular religion has the whole truth. It may be existing as bits and piece in all religions and schools of thought. For example, look at the Bible. Its very first phrase “In the beginning” itself is wrong because there is always something preceding to something which means there cannot be a beginning for anything. Yet the Bible has got some obvious truths too such as Mathew 25:31-46 which clearly says everyone is judged on the basis of his/her humanitarian act, not on the basis of their religious acts.”

  ‘This is a sign of apostasy,’ they responded.

  If you continue "agreeing" to meet with these wolves, they are going to rip you to shreds. You are not going to help them see any truths.

  You will not lose anything by terminating these discussions immediately. Whatever they have already decided to do to you, they are going to do it whether you continue down this road or not.

  Don't dignify or humanise these animals by playing their power/control games. Simply tell them that you don't wish to continue with further conversations - at the moment. Reasons? Private & personal. Say nothing more than this.

  You sound very practical and brief. Thank you for that. That is what I have determined to do in my heart. This was a case of unannounced visit. I won't entertain any more meeting--formal or informal.

  Apostate = a person who renounces a religious or political belief or principle.

  JWs are clever in making the word "Apostate" sound as if its is a very bad state/behavior of a person. Don't fall for it.

  In fact, we should be proud of being called apostates as we have the guts and determination to stand for the truth, against all the superstitious beliefs of religions

  You have already said too much.

  If you want to fade (as opposed to being DF for apostasy) then your only hope is to plead "depression" from the miscarriage (mentioned in an earlier post). If you care about "losing" all your JW family & friends, then all that dosn't matter.

  You don't sound like the person who would easily STFU and grovel, but that's what it will likely take to turn things around with the Eldumbs. They are Company Men looking to protect the Borg from independent thinking dissenters (like you).

  If you decide to try the "depression card" you might add that the hospital Chaplain visited you frequently and seemed well versed in "anti-JW" propaganda, and that you are now realizing how much his bitter, hateful spiel affected your thinking and that he caught you at the lowest mental condition following the miscarriage and all that follows that was causing you to question God's love and compassion. Doubtful any JW Elder bothered to visit, so discreetly hit them with that too. (If in fact that is the case, then it allows you to play a bit of the "stumbled" or "discouraged" cards as well.)

  Of course its part what and how highly controlling religious institutions do control people, through means of fear and intimidation, exploitation of ignorance and notably once its realized how the WTS's doctrines are inherently corrupt and not bible based, it becomes something of realization of why the WTS has aggressively tried to sniff out dissenters or doubtful questioners.
  

  Mind you could see this happen in many religious cults and many religious sects.

  The jw hierarchy need apostates ( as they define ) it feeds their superiority and haughty attitude which they use to justify being ' no part of satans world '. Anyone who cares to investigate will soon discover that not only are they a part of this worlds systems ie a religious organization , registered corporation ,registered as charities and willing to align themselves with the United Nations until they were rumbled and willing to benefit financially from stocks and shares in ' worldly ' companies who deal in activities contrary to their stated and enforced standards which for the rank and file jws would be a disfellowshiping matter if they were discovered to be doing the same. These people ( the watchtower hierarchy ) are hypocritical charlatans of the highest order... my advice get out and stay away from them as fast as you comfortably can.
