I was doing some research on the diffrent kinds
of Bible and the scholars who translated them
below are a few INTERESTING links..I hope
someone will enjoy this info.

I was AMAZED on how corrupt the NWT (JW) bible really is.
The scholars that revised there bible were part of the Freemasons
and worshipped Egypation Gods and tradition hmm and didnt believe in Jesus. And actually took out valuble scripture...PLEASE READ !! espcially active JW's..

The watchtower and the scholars are so conniving and manipulitive. I cant even believe it.Its already know that WTBTS hide the truth but I had no idea on how much !!!!!! its weird

Not totally, however it appears that it is more accurate then the NWT.
I wonder why they wont reveal who there scholars are ? It seems like
they are again trying to cover something up. Could it be because there
scholars were freemasons instead of scholars of the Greek. Why did they intentionally omit scriptures the make reference to Jesus and the
Holy Spirit ?? Eygytians didnt embrace the God of Moses right ? so it
makes since why so many of the "rendered" scriptures leave out anything to do with that out. e.i Acts 8:37 Matt 23:14 18:11 17: 21 Mark 7:16 John 5:4 they just took them out completely to name a few. Rev 22 : 18-19 you arent suppose to add or take away from the Word right ?

I am currently researching the scholars for the KJV as well. At least
I can get the names and creditals on those scholars unlike the NWT
who hide every thing like its some sort of big secret.

Let me ask you, if you would let a doctor do brain or heart surgery
on you if he would allow you know where he went to school and what
he was degree'd in would you ? Then why trust ANYONE who cant or wont
allow there followers to do proper research on there organization ?
After all they have thousands of believers trusting in THERE WORD and
putting there faith in men. Instead of policing there followers lifestyles maybe the should be more concerned with the TRUTH about
there own organization after all they are talking about there souls and eteranl life ?.

Camay, please don't get caught up in the Freemasonary trap about the NWT .... whether or not they were maosns has nothing to do with their ability to translate .... a lot of translations have been done by people who were not masons but who had no better credentials than the ones who did the NWT ..... and it shows in the their translations.

The ones who did the NWT did a lot of copying from many of these other translations because they agreed with their pre-conceived ideas .... they even resorted to one done by a spiritist who was told by spirits what the real transaltion should be .... amazing how those spirits agree with the WTs and the Mormons about things????

So steer clear of the Freemasonry trap and concentrate on the real issues .... no matter what they were, their scholarship was null and void - non existent .... kaput![8>]

their are 13 greek scholars that Im aware of that refute the jw nwt of the bible just look at their past how they fumble though doctrine it speaks for itself, a half truth is still a lie. their org. is very tightly spun ? who is the master of deception anyway hmmmm.

I was upset when once I researched on the subject of apostates. I started with the Watchtower's Bible Concordance. I looked up the word "apostate" (it appears about 10 times in the NW translation)and compared those verses with the KJ and other(inclouding foreign language)Bibles.

I learned that all the other Bibles use the word hypocrates instead. As I recall Jesus did not have problems with those who lost their faith, but he was very upset with those who were hypocrates.

These con artist changed the Bible verses witch originaly were writen to condemn them to use them against us.

Good point about not getting caught up in the discussion of Freemasons. I've read nothing definitive either way as to the involvement of Russell, etc.

As to the NTW? According to Ray Franz (through AlanF) - he considered Fred Franz adequate in Greek language.

Imho, there are errors in all translations, thus making them human productions.

How is mentioning freemasons getting caught up ? I am sharing what I found from more than one source. Have you all seen the Headstone of the founder of the JW ? Looks kinda MASONIC to me but I am no expert
on the subject.

I agree that all the diffrent translations contain errors, but the real issue is that the same type of things are omitted from one bible and not the other.

The point is the JW is a cultist type of religion. Which is why there
bible is tweeked. I just thought I would share some interesting links
in case anyone wanted to read up on the translations of ALL.
I for one didnt know about the 2 diffrent types. So please do misunderstand the post.

Because the committee had no scholars and they know it. They wanted to avoid ridicule for years by not revealing the names of the NWT translation committee. Ray Franz tells us though:

Fred Franz (the only member who knew any Greek at all)
Nathan Knorr
Albert Schroeder
George Gangas

Ray states, "Fred Franz, however, was the only one with sufficient knowledge of the Bible languages to attempt translation of this kind. He had studied Greek for two years in the University of Cincinnati but was only self-taught in Hebrew.
