There was no economic strife and warring terrorism in humanity's history even back in biblical times when much mythological story telling was expressed by select ancient civilizations as a means to create power and relevance to " their " gods.
  

  The WTS has exploited world events to support their contrived commercialized doctrines that mankind is living in " The Last Days ".

  Expressed doctrines that were not back by bible scripture but rather deliberately disobedient to Jesus's instruction and admonishment toward mankind to set or make a time calculation upon God's own sacred time.

  It doesn't take courage to type nonsense on a forum. It only takes wilful ignorance of the evidence combined with religious indoctrination.

  What exactly is a "rabid evolutionist" Paul? Is it somebody who has spent years examining the evidence and who can explain it in their own words? Somebody who thoroughly understands both sides of the conversation and who can hold an intelligent conversation about it?

  When it comes to reality our "views" are irrelevant. The only thing that matters is the evidence. If you have any evidence that seems to challenge evolution please share. A Nobel prize awaits.

  Humans did not evolve from present-day apes. Rather, humans and apes share a common ancestor that gave rise to both.

  There is no such thing as a "missing link."

  I ask you the same question as lsw1961: What books on the science of evolution have you read that allow you to form a qualified opinion on it?
