I was not aware that these cart signs were being made and sold by essentially a private company or proprietorship. The fact that it's called "Brooklyn Brothers" implies that this is absolutely a JW-owned operation. That page made me and my wife sick to our stomachs.

It says here that they are owned by jws....but I can't imagine that their signs are only for jw uses. I'm not aware that jws are required to purchase from jw companies. I do know that the WTS does not always deal with jw businesses, especially if they have been burned by doing so.
I think the carts them selves are also made by a private company as well. I think someone said they come from China. If someone could verify, this would be good
The same info was listened in Spain regarding a very big supply from a Chinese factory. It cannot be confirmed but....

I find it surprising that with all the printing expertise the WTS has they are allowing one man JW bands to make a business out of selling promo material.
Even if this weren't an egregious disregard for Jesus casting out the temple charlatans, why are these guys advertising?
A) You gotta pay to run ads. They're making money.
B) Who are they advertising to? Obviously they're looking for terms like "jehovahs witness" and "JW". Which leads to...
C) They screwed up by advertising on a predominantly ex-JW site. Well done.

Not surprising in my opinion, the WTS has moved on to more aggressive marketing schemes.
Cart witnessing is just another way of how JWS preach or clock hours.
It was done in the past but without the carts.
Someone got the idea to make up a cart that would hold more of the WTS's. literature and the idea took off.
Now just about every congregation is doing it and hey its much easier way of putting in hours. less traveling and walking and you can set up close to a coffee shop nearby too.
