Pretty sure that's just an ironic accident of google.
Oh no, the oversight is on them. Google Adwords merely actuated it, but they are the ones who chose to advertise, and chose those keywords.

Omg, I knew that some JW had used congregational contacts for their own business, but that was more or less hidden practice, didn't know it becomes that blatant...
@OrphanCrow, might I suggest that BBS is running ads because they have all that competition?
Isn't that a nice thought?
Even if this weren't an egregious disregard for Jesus casting out the temple charlatans, why are these guys advertising?
A) You gotta pay to run ads. They're making money.
B) Who are they advertising to? Obviously they're looking for terms like "jehovahs witness" and "JW". Which leads to...
C) They screwed up by advertising on a predominantly ex-JW site. Well done.
I have to admit, it is pretty odd and rather silly to advertise products to such narrow and unique niche. I cannot imagine another company wanting to come up with products only for JWs to compete with that one.
And as I type, well, I'm thinking maybe not so fast. Maybe that company may want to expand their markets, maybe starting to sell and distribute other products, maybe aiming at enslaving JWs into buying pretty much everything else they sell. In that regard, if that's their vision, then the advertising works well to make JWs believe that they are a legitimate entity. Hmm, I wonder. I guess time will tell.
Money changers at the temple? Blecchhhh!
So how does it work? Do individual JW's buy their own carts or does the congregation have carts available for the publishers to check out and use?
I can't imagine why there are so many different individuals producing and selling this stuff. It seems like the Society would make them and send them out to each congregation as a means to distribute their publications.
Exactly, Pete.
Hi,
I guess I need some help here as,
A few years ago there were these Contribution Boxes everywhere that said WORLDWIDE WORK Matt 24:14,
I understand that was replaced by requisited Congregation extortion I mean donations,
Now doesn't this Trolley Work have something to do with Matthew 24:14?
So shouldn't all this be put together in some JW compound, (as labour there is pretty much free/volunteer/slave and so costs should be very competitive with that of China,
Now, isn't this the sort of thing that the Matthew 24:14 donations are supposed to be for: PREACHING THE GOOD NEWS???
What am I missing?
:0)
I remember they carried out some sizeable renovations to one of their properties in this country. I remember hearing at the time that some of the building materials had been sourced directly from the manufacturer in china rather than been brought locally primarily because of the cost. Anybody else know of this happening.

Didn't you hear? They bought a mountain from China
