God is our help, not “a burden”

Sir Julian Huxley (one of the great pillars of modern neo-Darwinism) may be a symbol of people who feel God is a burden because he wrote: “The God hypothesis . . . is becoming an intellectual and moral burden on our thought." Therefore, he concluded that "we must construct something to take its place. (Essays of a Humanist, Julian Huxley, New York: Harper and Row, 1964, p. 222) He even described evolution as a "Religion Without Revelation" and wrote a book with that title (2nd edition, 1957). And evolution theory became a part of the curriculum, and many thought this is science.

Because scientists have contributed to comforts of people by way of their inventions of various tools and gadgets, people would think everything scientists say is scientific. This is like saying “whatever a joker says is a joke.” Just like there may be many things which are not joke in the daily conversation of a joker, there may be many things which are not scientific with regard to the scientists, as exemplified in the case of Huxley. Even great scientists and engineers can make mistake. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_science_and_engineering_blunders). Stephen Hawking admitted the biggest blunder of his scientific career. (http://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/stephen-hawking-admits-the-biggest-blunder-of-his-scientific-career-early-belief-that-everything-8568418.html) This is true of other brilliants minds (https://listverse.com/2014/07/30/10-scientific-blunders-of-genius-minds/) Interestingly, one of evolutionists’ acts that proved to be a hoax later is listed as one of the 20 greatest blunders of science. (http://discovermagazine.com/2000/oct/featblunders)

But nature has its ways of repaying (Galatians 6:7). Global warming is sounding a death knell on the Theory of Evolution:

    1) The much publicized natural selection is NOT going to happen in the case of many fishes in the sea. (https://news.nationalgeographic.com/2017/08/climate-change-study-ocean-fish-size/) Fish won’t be able to get enough oxygen to grow if ocean waters keep heating up. Fish, as cold-blooded animals, cannot regulate their own body temperatures. When ocean waters become warmer, a fish’s metabolism accelerates, and it needs more oxygen to sustain its body functions. Fish breathe through gills, organs that extract dissolved oxygen from the water and excrete carbon dioxide.

    2) Natural selection would NOT work on many lizard and insect species also as they could be completely wiped out by global warming because they cannot evolve quickly enough to deal with rising temperatures. (http://www.independent.co.uk/environment/nature/cold-blooded-species-face-wipeout-as-they-cannot-cope-with-global-warming-study-says-10262099.html)

    3) Natural selection is NOT going to happen in the case of one sixth of earth’s species. (https://www.popsci.com/climate-change-could-wipe-out-entire-species)

    4) The global temperatures could wipe out even over 50 per cent of animal and plant species. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_change_and_ecosystems)

    5) Rising temperatures could wipe out more than half of the earth's species (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/united-nations/news/article.cfm?o_id=227&objectid=10471858)

    6) Environmental change to wipe out all species—including humanity in 100 years (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-4888574/1-20-chance-climate-change-wipe-humanity.html)

Thus both sea and climate are going to disprove Evolution Theory and its main subject Natural Selection by making it obvious that species can’t adapt according to the changing environment. Then the mankind will come to know that God is our help (not a burden) and only He can recreate 8.7 million species to start the new world again. (Revelation 21:1, 5)

Venus - You and your BK cult cronies are absolutely clueless about how evolution works despite numerous attempts to educate you. That is called wilful ignorance.

No species tries and fails to adapt to changing environments. Either a population contains the necessary genetic resources to deal with change or they don't. In the case of fish facing the challenge of warming oceans those individuals who are genetically disposed to be smaller and therefore consume less oxygen will be better suited to the change in climate. On average they will produce more offspring who survive long enough to reproduce and therefore the genes for smaller phenotypes will prosper in the gene-pool. If the environment changes to much or too rapidly then species become extinct.

Five times in the history of life over 90% of all life on earth became extinct due to rapid changes in the environment - and that was before humans existed. Life survived and recovered. All of life on earth today descended from the 4% species that survived the "Great Dying" of the Permian Extinction 250 million years ago.

These events prove the fact of evolution and natural selection to be beyond all doubt.

    Cofty,

In all my posts and comments, it is too obvious that I have not promoted any organization. I have implied only four major subjects through all my writings:

    1) Soul is the creator of the body,

    2) God is the creator of the world.

    3) Suffering is a mechanism that alerts us to avoid further/future pain. Thus pain tells us that we have put our survival onto something that is a violation of some principle of divinity, which in turn gives a thirst for God, the forgotten truth. Like in rainy season we thirst for summer, and in summer we thirst for rainy season.

    4) How to live in the now, and enjoy the present.

Nobody can find fault with the above four things. The basic rule of the psychic universe is that “like attracts like.” Similarly, “love promotes love,” so that the person who has let go of a lot of inner negativity is surrounded by loving thoughts, loving events, loving people, and loving pets. This phenomenon explains many scriptural quotations and common sayings that have puzzled the intellect, such as, “The rich get richer and the poor get poorer,” and “Those who have, get.” As a general rule, therefore, people who are carrying the consciousness of apathy bring poverty circumstances into their lives, and those with a prosperity consciousness bring abundance into their lives. Because all living things are connected on vibrational energy levels, our basic emotional state is picked up and reacted to by all life forms around us. It is well known that animals can instantly read a person’s basic emotional state. There are experiments demonstrating that even the growth of bacteria is affected by human emotions, and that plants register measurable reactions to our emotional state. Hence don’t keep any ill-feeling towards me.

So, let us part our ways in all sweetness.

    With best regards

I can find fault with numbers 1,2, and 3. If you can't see that anybody would find fault with them, perhaps you have a rafter in your eye preventing you from seeing things. Sounds just as blind and culty as the JW baloney we all left behind.

Living in the now and enjoying the present is good though. After all, it's all we have.

    Hi dubstepped,

Your finding fault with number 1, 2, and 3 is not eternal because I was like you to start with. I had freedom to choose religion because my dad was Jew and mom was a Christian, but I did not; I felt the way you did. Later, Life took me to those three; and I feel good about it. My initial stage made the present more fortified.

Brahma Kumaris Venus - 1) Soul is the creator of the body,

    That's totally bonkers.

    2) God is the creator of the world.

    Some believe, others don't.

Blimey O'Rielly. mate. this is getting more bonkers. False dichotomy or what!

    4) How to live in the now, and enjoy the present.

According to the dangerous Brahma Kumaris nutty cult.

Nobody can find fault with the above four things.

No one would waste their breath. There is so much wrong with those four Brahma Kumaris pontifications that they render themselves redundant.

I for one am bored to death reading this nonsense. I'm outta here. Sorry Venus and Brahma Kumaris people...I'm abandoning all your culty threads and won't look at any replies one of you might put. Cheers me dears.

    Punkofnice,

You see dubstepped commented (before you) he liked the 4th one but hated 1-3 whereas you hate all four of them. If Descartes (great Mathematician and philosopher) were here, he would have said He liked three of them, at least. This is the beauty of life. Certain things are like time—it looks short during happiness and longer during a wait/pain. Everyone’s taste is different. When we permit little space around them, everyone is comfortable. Just like hating all those four makes you feel comfortable, loving them all four makes me comfortable.
