I understand Phal is the hottest, and is like eating raw chilli's.
I last tried it over a decade ago, and I still shiver twhen I think about it.
I'll eat any, but I prefer to taste my food, so it'll often be a Biryani or a Korma.

ohh nice hot Thai curry I love it. and I order mine Thai HOT when I get it.
Curry Rules, I make it, everytime I get a chance, had vindaloo the other day in fact. :)
Pataks has an awesome Biryani paste too. I only use Pataks these days, it is sooooo good.
mmm, i put curry in couscous, it's my favorite dinner dish :)
phal is very hot indeed, I like Vindaloo but I can't do the phal.

try Sharwoods - it's available in Canada. Comes in a jar about the same size as Pataks, but it's powdered (mild, hot, super hot). Awesome stuff!!
have you tried putting a little in your omelettes/scrambled eggs - yum.

My boyfriend is a curry fanatic--he eats about two-three times a week.
I however can't stand it. The smell doesn't bother me, thank goodness--I think it smells great--but I can't handle spicy food.
