We should always be vigilant of trading ONE FAIRYTALE for a NEW FAIRYTALE because we need to explain the unexplainable.
What if .... some thoughts

Pure evolution (i.e. big bang) would mean that suddenly everything was there in order to develop into a human being without failure or shortcomings and would also be able to reproduce immediately....what are the odds? - menrov
Hi Menrov. I think your issues with evolution are a result of some misunderstandings.
The path to modern humans is a massive experiment in failures and trial and error.
At least six times almost all of live on earth was wiped out in mass extinctions. 99.9% of all the species that ever lived have gone extinct. The ancestors of humans (in fact all mammals) only thrived because a meteor wiped out the dinosaurs leaving a niche for them to thrive.
Consider that virtually every creature that has ever lived - including 200,000 years of modern humans who suffered and grieved just like us - died of starvation, disease, exposure, parasites, infection or predation.
The history of life seems perfectly designed to maximise suffering and waste.
Does this sound anything like a plan of an intelligent - let alone loving - creator?
P.S. Please tell me some more about your question regarding reproduction.

"The history of life seems perfectly designed to maximize suffering and waste." Indeed, and thus the strong desire for myth and fairytales -- ah, the human brain. These basic SCI 101 posts have helped so many of us to face reality, Cofty - thanks.
iwantoutnow - you're so right re/exchanging fairytales - have to be vigilant. My X-witness friend wandering/checking out one religion vs. another - now the radio/TV magic - endless but at least I've been able to keep her out of the JW bunkers after a few close calls and the way she was treated by the JWs' rules attending in her work-pantsuit to attend before rushing on to her job - thank you GB Goon Squad!

Natural selection doesn't build "perfect" or "according to plan"...
...the multitude of inherent "design flaws" on just about every level of biological life attest to that.
It just builds "(barely) adequate enough to survive-slash-propagate".
I've said this many times, but from what I can see evolution does a way better job than creationism at explaining the more WTF-levels of weirdness found in nature.

Not to mention that the vast majority of techniques used by creationists to refute evolution involve misdirection, out-of-context quotes, and semantic pretzel-twisting...
...the tactics that lawyers use when they're on the losing side of a court case.
And if that's the best creationists can come up with, WTF does that say about creationism?

Obama was always quoting scripture -- think ole horndog frequented his church a lot -- was that only show biz?!! Ahh, that's sweet. Obama is a flaming socialist and didn't know how to run a garage sale much less answer a phone call - too much social traveling and golf! Ole head-bobbin' Hil is clueless other than selling the country's uranium to finance her win - that's what I call a WIN-WIN except for thousands of voters regardless of Russia and other corrupt regimes along with Amazon. I think Biden/Ole Hil would make a hell of a team - one head/body bobbin to stay erect and the Biden - omg where does one start/hilarious! Balanced comedians (unbiassed - non-state sponsored) would become gazillionnaires over night! The Dems need ethical candidates and that might get them around the curve. Can't blame this on "creationists" nonsense. Running the country is a lot more than political wealth making for a thick wallet - much more. Business and creation are two separate studies.
Some lame lawyers on the 'power-monger' Dem side. Unreal they can't even follow law but what else is new! Corruption unlike any other in US history.

Sorry menrov - under wrong topic. I TRIED TO CANCEL! Back to evolution/my error.
