Trump or Contested Convention?

I think Hilary is more likely to win against Trump, but I believe she will win against Cruz also and I think a Republican contested convention would be vastly entertaining, so I am kind of hoping for that. I just have this mental picture of Donald having a meltdown, laying on the floor with his shellac blond pouf and orange face, kicking and pounding his fists and screaming how unfair everyone is being. -

If Hillary wins the nomination and then gets indicted..... The Democratic party, depending on the legality issues, could nominate Joe Biden or John Kerry.
I think Biden is more likeable than Hillary. I suspect he's sorry that he didn't toss his hat into the ring at the start of this. Like everyone else, he thought Hillary had this one sewed up. (Deja vu?) Kerry is all washed up (IMO). Frankly, I'd rather see Sanders than either of them.

What makes you say Trump is "unpopular with most Americans"?
Trump/s approval rating has consistently hovered around 30%. Whereas his unfavorable rating has been over 50%. Though, as the GirlNextDoor correctly pointed out, a far better descriptor would have been "majority" rather than "most".
The Huffington Post keeps an up to date Meta-analysis or every poll measuring the favorable/unfavorable rating of Clinton and Trump. Where as you can always find polls that are outliers and shows the two neck and neck - this sort of information isn't helpful. However, an aggregate of all the polls helps plot any trends that may be developing. And, as best we can tell, it doesn't seem like Trump is gaining any traction with American voters. Unsurprisingly, the majority of people seem not to like him.

I think if it's a contested convention then it's the end of the Republican party as we know it. Sad. But they did it to themselves. They should never have given him their platform.
If he wins, they are ruined. If he loses, he'll ruin them.
Their best option is now for him to win because even though he will likely (god, I hope) lose the general election at least it won't fracture the party. If he doesn't win the nomination then all his toys will be thrown out of his pram, he'll start lawsuits and possibly run as an independent.
The idea that Hillary will be imprisoned is some right wing wet dream that simply isn't going to happen. Bush committed far worse negligent crimes and nothing happened. Shouting "Benghazi" and "emails" over and over has just become a chant for losers - the hearings made her look strong and capable and the politicizing obvious.
I don't think it will be Cruz as he is thoroughly unlikable - the kind of person you'd think twice before buying a car off them. he's also failing dismally now we're out of the Jesus states. I think the only chance the republicans have of actually winning the election is Kasich. Of the three of them, he's the one I'd least like to be chosen (speaking as more of a democrat supporter).
Dream ticket would be Bernie with Elizabeth Warren as VP (becoming first female president the election after).

This:

Depending on the poll, 60-70% of the US population have an unfavorable view of him.
If he ends up being the GOP candidate, the general election will be a bloodbath. Hillary will end up with 70% of the popular vote and 90% of the electoral votes.

It is going to be Trump, and I hope he gets destroyed in the general election.😜

I live in the border. I've driven by the current wall hundreds of times. Off course tunels are there but next time I go by I will take a picture of the wall and post it. You don't even need a lather to get over it.
The Bush wall actually caused the number of illegals running thru my town to increase. I have seen them get caught in front of my very eyes in my very own backyard.
The last time it was a car that pulled over and a lady took of running. The cops were chasing after her. She ran across my yard and had to crouch to cross my unfinished fence. If it wasn't for that, they would not have caught her as she was already out running them.
