Getting back on topic, why did I O.P this thread baby talk?
Well as Witnesses our " baby talk" was the voice of our untrained conscience. Sadly our untrained conscience had its morals set by the Watchtower.
Then we join here, and many for the first time:-
A) learn to speak by there own moral standards,
B) They find there our own believe system,
and right or wrong we are suddenly no longer involved with " baby talk". However for many of us it's the first time we have expressed " independent thinking" which is something the Watchtower asked us to avoid at all costs. Therefore it is with practice and understanding from fellow posters, that we develop our own moral conscience, and our own belief system.
This obviously results in us finding a new direction in life. Could there be a more worthwhile past time than positively assisting each other in this regard?

Good Thread Reb !
I looked back over my posts from the time I very first posted shortly before leaving for good. I realise too that the person who posted then is long gone, I have grown up, no more "baby talk".
But what a wonderful place this is ! it prompted me to get an education, to really examine the WT/JW Scam,examine the Bible, and religion in general. It got me to learn about Evolution, it got me to learn how to use Critical Thinking and a host of other things.
When I say "it" I mean all the great Posters on here, then until now, and some who I discovered in the Archive.
Those same Posters have helped me to get rid of all the bad JW thoughts, feelings and beliefs.
Yes, I am a different person, but an Adult now, and a much nicer person than that JW who wandered on here nearly a decade ago.

If I would of posted when I first started to wake up, I would of come off as an apologist! Mind filled with fever like delusions. I'm so glad I waited for the fever to subside and logic to kick in. Now I probably just offend some with my remarks! I honestly would never say half the stuff I share here, I'd come off as extreme. Normally, I never talk about my faith or religion unless you insist.
