The Evolution of the Awake's Back Cover

  I don't think anyone's actually considered this, but a post in the extj.com forum made me think about the MANY changes (not just one) on the back cover of the Awake! magazine. Thanks to avoidjw.org for scanning ALL of the magazines in PDF format, since there is a LOT lost with the WT Library.

  Take a look at the following paragraphs in the Awake´s back cover throughout the years:

  Sure, those'll work.

  However, it's really about maintaining the illusion of "God's Earthly Organization"...

  ...'cause if that were truly the case, it wouldn't actually need to change things.
