I had a discussion with a very passionate patreon of LE last week. They absolutely saw nothing wrong with LE and his sex life it was none of anybody's business. The argument was that they personally knew many people that were helped out of JW by LE's videos and if it wasn't for said videos, (the same ones I cannot stand to watch), these folks would still be in the cult. I said said LE's bad behavior doesn't negate per se individual good results...it is still bad behavior.

When I say passionate, I really mean passionate. Sooo, I just had to tell the person that I "heard" what they were saying, and I understand. I let them finish and said my experience is different, the sex life is just one part of many issues with LE, and that I think he is a jerk, and a liar, and has treated people in the EXJW community horribly. I also felt he is hypocritical in the way he personally criticizes members of the GB for less than LE's behavior. They said "that is laughable."

We ended that I feel as strongly in my opinion as they did in theirs, and we just have to agree to disagree. I'm telling you...it felt like it was talking to someone who just jumped from one cult to another.

On a side note, can that man taaaallllkkkk...I tried to watch the "Leaving bunker" video, and cut out after 5 minutes. I really do not see the attachment people have to his videos...

It's been a while since I've been to this thread. But, I thought they were divorcing.

The true love of money conquers all. There would have been a time I could have felt sorry for Dijana, but not any more. Hopefully the children learn from this and can live a good life when they're grown.

I have trouble believing that. If you're spending enough time watching his content to convince you to leave the organization, then you already had a foot out the door. It's not as if he disguises the fact that he's a Watchtower critic and apostate. How many diehard JWs are seeing his videos in their 'suggested' feed? None.

I have no doubt that people have been helped by his videos. But this nonsense about how they'd still be in without them... no.

Dijana gave all those private emails, screenshots and photos to Kim and PB,

Question Why didn't she defend Kim ,when she was being .how do you say that in english, attack cyberbullied , phishing? That was insane ! and beyond vicious! I know it's her husband but after all what kim did for them, she could at least have the decency to go on the F*** ING social media and in just a simple F***ING tweet or facebook post, say :I will please aks everybody to stop attacking M.Silvio ... just that. Then all his Worshippers would have Back down , like they would dare argue with her, but no.Or is it just me...And the same thing goes for M.O'Donnell. He aslso .even though he doesn't see eye to eye with her, HE SHOULD HAVE HAD THE DECENCY,in his tweet to ask to be respectful to kim and stop attacking her, but no.Instead he put links on newspapers articles about the sex trafficking in Thailand bla bla bla that EVERYBODY ALREADY KNEW THAT. DUH! Again if he had done this , L.E, worshippers would have not argue with him...Now that one makes me MAD...

This. So many people believe someone "saved them" for some reason, but I still don't believe anyone can be logically convinced to leave the WTS or to even listen to any argument that it's wrong. If you are reading about how it might not be the truth then boom, you're already free even if you don't realize it yet. IMO one of the best questions to ask a JW is "what would convince you it wasn't the truth" and many can't face answering it as to even do so is to confront the possibility that it isn't true.

It's normally some event in their own life and / or the congregation that has triggered their awakening, but it's rarely someone external that did it, other than someone dropping little hints of information. Anyone going to apostate YouTube channels to hear criticism of the WTS? Yeah, I think those people are already out.

What people do go after is validation that they made the right choice. This is where many get stuck. They either can't bother doing the research they need to leave it all behind entirely or they miss the JW life and still want to be immersed in regular "JW talk", because they don't know how to fill their life with anything better.

Of course for all those people there's someone willing to take their money.

^^ Exactly. A doubt or question is there to begin with if you are sitting through any apostate videos, let alone LE's. Why some people credit LE when it is their own questioning brain...don't know.

Again, it is the cult of LE, his behavior is excusable and lying doesn't matter. Interestingly, this person's exit was due to not being able to get a study WT while df'd, and was told to get their copy online. And guess what site popped up while searching for said WT? They voraciously read this site and the masterful discussions...they were out in just a few days.

    So there you go.

I’m sure Lloyd guilted her by constantly ragging on how she provided all this info and proof to Kim and others. Saying she gave the “haters” ammo to attack “our family”. I bet she was in a state of shock after the livestream like many others were but to answer your question, her loyalty is to her husband. Typical Lloyd in that he desires a wife out of the 1950’s stay at home model but with a sex drive taken right out of Moulin Rouge.

That’s Dijana in the reflection of the YouTube plaque.

Interesting Lloyd has been reduced to doing a sort of telephone "Questions from readers"🤔

I wonder how long before he uses the famous Watchtower technique of formulating his own.....🤨

When a wife loyally and knowingly supports her husband in doing something wrong, that misplaced support will eventually catch up with her and cost her dearly. Abigail (in the old testament) protected her household from the harm that her foolish husband, Nabal, would have caused. Wives shouldn’t support their husbands in wrongdoing.

    1 Samuel 25:2, 3, 17, 25, and 37 says:

“2 Now there was a man in Maon whose business was in Carmel. He was a very wealthy man with a thousand goats and three thousand sheep, which he was shearing in Carmel. 3 His name was Nabal, and his wife’s name was Abigail. She was an intelligent and beautiful woman, but her husband, a Calebite, was harsh and evil in his dealings.”

[One of Nabal’s young men informed Nabal’s wife Abigail,]“...17 Now consider carefully what you must do, because disaster looms over our master and all his household. For he is such a scoundrel that nobody can speak to him!”

[Further, Abigail said to David,] “...25 My lord should pay no attention to this scoundrel Nabal, for he lives up to his name: His name means Fool, and folly accompanies him. I, your servant, did not see my lord’s young men whom you sent...”

“37 In the morning when Nabal was sober, his wife told him about these events, and his heart failed within him and he became like a stone. 38 About ten days later, the LORD struck Nabal dead.”
