Don't know if this will help , maybe Kapwing video editor. the free version only allow you to make 7min. video though

Depends what kind of animation you're looking to do.
HitFilm Express is a good free video editor.
Also, DaVinci Resolve has a free option as well.
Prior experience with other video editing software will help with the learning curve.
There are lots of tutorials for DaVinci Resolve on YouTube, if you're so inclined.

Lightworks is a free video editor. It might be overkill, but it won't cost anything to find out. :)
