It did not scare my hubby. he set and poked fun at "the Ring" all the way through it. he kept saying"she won't die, cause she just keeps wathcing it" "she wont' die b/c she rewinds it". Ever see the M/M commercial and the guy who keeps taking shots at the movie and finally a bag of M/M's hits him and shut him up? that's my guy.

When I saw The Ring, at the end of the movie, some man yelled out "Seven days!!" All the way out to my car, I was thinking "now people have been seeing this all over the country and haven't died in 7 days, so it's baloney." I knew it was irrational, but couldn't help but rationalize it out anyway!

well "the Ring" was scary enough for me, but my hubby doesn't care much for psychic horror, he really likes horror. I know i thought about the 7 days thing too, and would u believe, that just as the movie shows the woman watching the movie, my PHONE RANG. It was my son. Scared the hell out of me.

The Ring was really scary at the theatre. I unplugged all of the TVs that night before I could sleep. Later, we rented it, and it wasn't so good on DVD.

Audition I loved. The subtitles were a little goofy, but it was so creepy! I love neo-noire and Japanese films.

Another good movie that isn't really a horror movie but it's not really a comedy either is "May". It's one of the best I've seen in a while.

House of 1000 Corpses was just disgusting but it was interesting to see Rob Zombies spin on it.

Someone mentioned their favorite movie was Hellraiser...I've seen it, and Pinhead is awesome, but should you really be watching that? I'm a little surprised to see so many people into scary movies. The Elders at my old congregation forbid us to even watch Casper...
