The next time when I talk to JW at my door I will ask them who do you

I remember at an assembly they were doing a talk on how idol worshippers and extortioners won't see God's kingdom.

I literally puked. I got so pissed off I just to leave.

It's like there is something supernaturally evil and it is just mocking us.

    Sorry, I forgot the verse.

Beth-Sarim - [ not wishing to be contentious with you or anyone here at all - ] but I have recently been chatting to a number of "church-goers" who were treated very badly within their denominations eg Baptists / New Apostolics / and 7th Day Adventists . In the most latter the person was effectively shunned by the congregants and family -

On the point of discussion: I would always have applied that scripture to only so-called Christendom ..........until I had to put up with the in-fighting/ ego's / back-stabbing and BS as an elder ..and it was my experience as an Elder that got me searching for a Why ? which has now led to my Liberation from the cult and indeed ALL religion -

1 Corinthians 4:6 "Do not go beyond what is written"

That is all they do these days. The whole Imitate Their Faith book is all speculation, making up what happened, drawing crazy conclusions and the such.

Its much worse today than ever!

No offensive but none of those dominations are nearly 1/100 as evil as the WTS. The idea of comparing mainstream (yes the Adventists) Christian dominations to that of the WTS is simply ridiculous.

I had a discussion with my uncle who is a Baptist pastor about the issue of congregational disciple and he basically told me it really is a non-issue 99.5 % of the time. If you want to start doing drugs or becoming a swinger or whatever , chances are a person will distance themselves from the church and its members before they start to live this type of lifestyle.

A good friend, a minister. We were talking one day about one of the member in the church,

the guy had a drug problem. I ask the minister do you think it's a good idea that he sing in

the church chorus? I still had some of that JW baggage.

He told me that why we are here to o help others. What do you think would have happen if

that had taken place in JW land. That open my eyes

    Good point.

To ask the JW's next time they come to your door.

''Who do you believe the scriptures are describing?''

    Their reaction could be priceless.

I recall so often, hearing talks citing scriptures that said NOT to behave in a certain way, only to have that same speaker go on to praise WT & JWs for behaving in the exact manner the scripture said not to.

Just as with the May 2015 JWTV netcast, GB Lett claimed WT does not beg or solicit donations, but then carried on for the next hour doing exactly that.

Either JWs are brainwashed zombies or they have tuned themselves out to what is being said and just don't care.
