Yeru...you're so predictable, and I don't intend this as a personal attack on you, cause I realize you're just a regular Joe just as I am, but man, your bunch reminds me of Jehovah's witnesses. For some reason you all have the same answer, all at the same time, and believe the ones who tell you what to give for an answer as gospel truth.

You do have a right to believe you are making progress, whatever that means. The fact remains, that here you are trying to whip a country into submission, will spend billions in the process, for something that wasn't even necessary.

All of a sudden you realize that terrorists are attacking you there rather than here, and it makes for a good defence for why you are in Iraq. I knew they'd come up with that line a few weeks ago. I should start a 1-900 psychic line on what will be the next quote.

Many times I've heard comments about the US being a great country, and it is a great place, and that many have fought for the freedoms we enjoy, people who are old today. Rather than throw your money at the Iraqis why don't you guys alleviate the struggle these older people are going through by throwing the money at lowering their prescription costs so they can enjoy a peaceful retirement. That is if you really respect what they did for your freedom and your country. These older US citizens are paying the highest prices in the world for their medications, stripping them of their life savings. And you want to give the Iraqis a better life?

What about the respect for your workforce in the US. For the past decade and a half you have told younger people to enter the technology field, and now you allow corporations to move these decent paying jobs to other countries where labor is cheaper, leaving younger people to work at McD, at minimum wage.

I could go on all day on how the regular US citizen is being scammed by corporations selling worthless products and services, allowed to be lied to and keep ripping us off, and the spending in Iraq is another example of this worthless expenditure, that you will end up paying for just so they can make a buck.

You can believe them blindly if you wish, and you can call yourself patriotic, but I believe I'm more patriotic than you cause I would definitely prefer the money being spent to help the poor in the US than to see it spent on Iraqis, who obviously won't allow you to run their country and won't even appreciate it in the end.

And I won't even comment on the oil thing.

And what about the US' electrical infrastucture? Just another example of capitalists sucking every penny out of a system, take the money, file bankrupcy, and leave you with the bill.

And if I dare say something about it I'm called unpatriotic. Anyone who allows this corporate stripping of americans, keeps his mouth shut and doesn't fight for it to end is in my opinion the one who is unpatriotic. And when the capitalists are done exploiting us guys, they'll just move on leaving us with nothing. Not even your freedom, cause they won't allow anyone to try and stop them, that's what the patriot act is all about. Right now it's disguised under the fight of terrorism, but believe me, when people realize they are being taken in, they won't be able to fight to protect what they have, they'll be viewed as terrorists. Mark my words.

And all this time we are to assume they care for us and want our prosperity. I see right through them and won't allow myself to be that gullible.

Forewards post really summed up what is really happening in the USA right now. It is beginning to be the norm for the rich CEOs to take advantage of the companys and let the poor workers and people depending on the jobs to just go to hell. The foreclosures in this county has doubled since last year and the biggest textile company has gone bankrupt and laid off all the workers. The furniture companys are going out of business too. Last year there were 2000 foreclosures and right now there have been over 4000 this year already. It doesn't look good here right now.
