  Hey, my American cousins!

  Although I luv you to death, you just can't come up with better reasons to be there rather than here, at least not IMHO.

  And millions of people all over the world will second that motion!!! Just try pinning a CDN flag on your lapel next time you world-travel and you'll find out what I mean (and quickly!!).

  However, I will offer you the invitation to come join us! Always room for one more Yankee refugee (a la Vietnam or any other reason). We may be proud but we're not loud, and you're always welcome to join us!

  ps. I live in a Navy port, and the American sailors are the sweetest, 'funnest' folks, always gentlemen and fall in love with CDN girls (damn fine dancers, too). Cheers to ya!!

  Real reason is because our Public Health Care System has been slashed to hell and the morons running our country don't give a damn.

  More heat in the US means more smog therefore, Canada has cleaner air and is subsequently better.

  Not in Southern Ontario. It's a combination of all the frigging factories around here, plus we get all the crap blowing over from Michigan. In fact, the only place in North America with dirtier air than Southern Ontario is Texas.

  A Low Canadian dollar means a more competitive economy

  No, this just means that the only way we can compete, is by having a frigging dollar so low, that it rivals the Mexican peso in terms of value. 30 years ago, the Cdn dollar was actually worth MORE than the US dollar, and we had no problems having a competitive economy then. Cdn companies have gotten lazy and cheap and they don't want to invest enough $$ to make their companies competitive on an international scale. Plus, every damn item that comes into this country has to be "bilingual". Many foreign companies do not want to have to pay for that, so as a result, there are a hell of alot of things you see available in the States that you can't get over here.
