"Normal" is just so obvious. JW's are the one's abnormal! If you've ever told a worl----I mean normal person all the restrictions JW's have, they just shake their heads in disbelief.

The first time I heard them refer to non JW's as worldly, it was as if the JW's were aliens from another world, here to conquer the planet.

Like you, I am a radio announcer, and was making a stab at wry humor. I take it you found my questuion neither wry, nor humorous, as it was intended. I guess that's why I never had huge ratings. I think we are on the same side.

I see the obvious problem with this. Who is going to bell the cat? Maybe we can undertake a similar campaign that our slightly dotty church librarian did to the books in her custody. She carefully blotted out every swear word, like "Darn". Kinda makes for funny reading. Devoted and faithful Christian heroine is devotedly repairing her beloved's socks, pricks her pinkie, and hollers " ".
...so who is going to break in to the KH's around the country and cross out Worldly and replace it with Normal???

"Worldly" relatives are now "normal" relatives. "Worldly" attitudes are just "normal" attitudes. "Worldy" desires are simply "normal" desires. "Acting worldly" is "acting normal".
