    Hey, sweetie,

You know, we all understand how hard things are for you right now. Moving away from everyone you know and love, and having a family unwilling to talk to you because they are brainwashed by a cult is enough to depress even the strongest of us. The thing about drinking is, it can sneak up on you. Before you know it, every few days turns into every other day, turns into everyday, etc. I REALLY don't think you have a problem right now. That doesn't mean you never could, heck, any one can develop a problem. What you need is redirection. I know how much joy you found in volunteering before, and I officially prescribe a volunteer program for you. It will allow you to do good for others, thereby reaffirming your self worth. It really does feel good to help others, doesn't it? I love that feeling, that's why I started donating blood.

I am always here, as you know, and I am going to PM you my home and work numbers again just in case you want to chat. Just remember, I am on Pacific Standard Time, so don't accidentally call me at 4 in the morning

    smooches,

    Happyout

sounds like you have a problem .. if it's 8 am.

But is that 8 am on alot of mornings or once in a blue moon.

switch to "Chocolate" and see if that helps.

    Chocolate at 8 am.

If you felt like you had to have chocolate at 8 am. I would think that wasn't going to be a problem.

    sincerely

    Hi ((((Stinkypants))))Visit Smiley Central!

You are heading in the right direction checking all this out for yourself. Give yourself a pat on the back for reaching out and to see what fits for you.

I've been sober close to 20 yrs. I am involved with "Women for Sobriety". This sobriety program has been in existence since 1975. Deals with women's self-esteem and self-worth. Very positive program.

Some women use both AA and WFS. WFS program is congruent to AA.

I went through treatment for alcoholism. It was the time I just gotten out of the org. I was not in place to be involve with AA. Try to deprogram a program in order for me to fit. I had no energy. My therapist recommend WFS. I was grateful that there were other options.

[email protected] May be another option for you to check out. And to see what fits for you.

I support you in taking care of yourself.

    stinky,

May I help you out here? This line of thought came out of soldiers who found comfort from it in the Vietnam War, and maybe will help you feel a little better. I don't know. I hope it does.

Hey, the simple fact that you are concerned is a very good sign. I think you are being human... having a little to take the edge off every now and then.

Hell, sometimes I find myself craving alcohol, but I don't worry about it, I only drink every now and then to enjoy a mild relaxing buzz.

Oh, and people do care about you. I'm one of them.
