I couldn't have planned it any better. I left on a happy note! No regrets and no remorse.

    Good question, but probably not.

There is no easy way or right way to fade. I think, the way it happened, was thrust upon me, and a decision had to be made, regardless.

So, no, I would not have changed my exit.

I like the way I did it. One day I was on the rise, a little rebellious, but considered very intelligent and not someone the elders wanted to argue with about any thing and the next day GONE.

    I loved it.

I am OK with how I left. I wrote the Baptism Nullification letter, sent out copies to everyone I knew in three states and raised a little Hell locally. I know others have used a version of that letter. I still write letters, unwitness to people, and wrote a letter to the PO this week thanking him for helping me see the truth! (Due to his being a lying, coward! ) The duds avoid me like a leper! Such peace can't be bought! Maverick, it's more than a cyber name...it's a way of life!

Honestly I wouldn't change a thing. I went through very rocky times, but that was fully expected when a person tries to leave a cult. By the way I am in a very similiar position as Tink, A mystery, 'where is he? Is he dead? Maybe he goes to meetings somewhere else?'

Those rocky times are to be expected, Michael...tho I'm sure none of us realized just HOW rocky some of it could get, eh? btw, what position is Tink in that you have one similar to hers...I'm baffled here....

By the way Frannie I love the way you follow up on other people's post. That so awesome!!

Well, if it was thrust upon you, Rayz...there's no way around that....

That's perfectly understandable, ESTEE....I'd have done it too, if there had been someone in there worth "keepin" close to me....
