East Africa & Seychelles Climate | |
The Seychelles consist of over 90 small islands, mostly low-lying, although the largest island (Mahe) has hills up to 3000 feet They have a tropical climate, and have become a popular tourist resort. Winter average daily maximum temperatures reach 28 - 29 °C (83 - 84 °F), but it is a very wet season (about 15 dry days on average) with average monthly rainfall about 14 inches (355 mm). On the Kenyan coast, daily maximum winter temperatures can be up to 31 °C (88 °F), but inland at Nairobi (6000 feet), values are only about 24 °C (75 °F). Generally, the mainland is much drier than The Seychelles, with about 24-25 dry days on average, but monthly average rainfalls of only about 1-2 inches (25-50 mm). |
I hope that answers you question.

The Fremont, California City Council recently passed an ordinance prohibiting the butchering of dogs within the city limits after an influx of Cambodian refugees.
Dog meat ain't too too awful bad...kinda stringy and a bit greasy at times...but not to bad...especially if you're hungry.
Stray dogs and hungry homeless.... Two problems waiting to solve each other.

My son and I went camping in the wilds of West Texas a few years ago and he brought along some MRE's (meals ready to eat, a military food) Well after a couple of days they started to get old and I couldn't see how anyone could eat them for an extended period. Now that I've read about dog meat those MRE's look damn good. Bug
Although I don't have a problem with dogs being eaten for food, the traditional way of prepping the dog to be eaten is apalling. The dog is strangled very slowly as it is believed this improves the taste of dog meat.
